✖ ━━ DANIEL SHARMAN ━━ i saw JAMES ELLINGTON today !  you know, the TWENTY-NINE year old celebrity !  HE’S known for being an ACTOR &  FORMER PRESIDENT’S SON.  they live in hollywood, but are originally from CHICAGO, IL.  if you check out the traitorapp it says they’re CAPTIVATING & DECEITFUL & they call them THE CASTELLAN, but it looks like he’s hiding something. james was born in chicago, il to parents robert ellington iii and laura ellington.. if those names sound familiar, you probably recognize them as the former president and first lady of the united states, robert being the son of robert ellington jr, another former potus. the youngest of 3 brothers, james has grown up around politics and secret service agents for his entire life. before his father ran, his grandfather (*already out of office*) would bring him to white house events. so when his father ran and won the presidency, it seemed like a probably trajectory for his life to take. he had always been prepared to live in the white house. 

james was young when his father took office and still very much shielded from the reality of politics despite being at the epicenter. while his older brothers were expected to be able to comment briefly on their father’s politics, james was only ever asked what his favorite breakfast cereals were and which movies he watched the most. it was always his brothers who held the mantle - his brothers who were expected to grow up and become politicians - james was just the cute younger brother. and though some may resent that, james cherished it. 

although good at making nice and shaking hands, james has always been more outgoing than his family would prefer. known to cause disturbances by trying to ditch his security detail, his life as an adult didn’t change much. even though no one in his family was currently in the white house (save for his eldest brother, currently holding a senate seat), james still worried his family with his “optics.” he was the wild card of his family.. so no one was really shocked when he announced he was going to move to los angeles to pursue an acting career (though they were all worried.)

after the proper meetings with his father, grandfather, and both of their advising teams making sure he knew he couldn’t make a fool out of their family name (james couldn’t roll his eyes hard enough), he moved to LA and began working. it didn’t take long for his career to take off- although still more famous for being his father’s son, he has several acting credits under his belt - the fault in our stars and baby driver being his two biggest thus far. 

although genuinely a nice person, james’s life is still very much glossed over for the public. articles about any bad behavior get quickly buried..

BEST FRIENDS - had to be in caps bc i feel passionately about james having just LITERALLY THE BEST FRIEND EVER OKAY like these two live and breathe for each other and are rarely seen in public without each other. 

casual fling - she’s a casual fling, but since they’ve been photographed together, their team is insisting the media call them boyfriend and girlfriend.. and insisting that since they screwed up and got caught once, they have to go out more. def picturing this as like.. was supposed to be a one night stand, but then they got caught, and now it’s kind of awkward but also funny? idk? 

ex gf - just gimme exes! all sorts of exes!! unrequited feelings, hostile exes, james is definitely a serial monogamist so ALL THE EXES.

enemy - no one even remembers why they hate each other. maybe one beat the other out for a role, maybe they were costars who couldn’t share the limelight, maybe the other doesn’t agree with james’s family’s politics.. either way, the rivalry is bitter.
