So, I was strolling through tumblr yesterday and saw an anon ask the mods over at the @drarryawards if summaries could be added to the lists. Now the incredibly busy mods stated that if anyone wanted to do that, they would happily reblog that post. Seeing as I had some time on my hands, and mentally trying to avoid some stuff I decided to give it a go. I've decided. Once this is all over, once all four books are complete, I'm going to make myself some tea and start all over again. Reading this real-time has bee amazing, but I think I'll get something really cool out of knowing what's going to happen. Also, my first read has been super tense because Femme is amazing at writing tension, sexual and otherwise.

Fic summary: Seven-Four-Alpha are back in London with available resources of the Ministry tracking their every move. Draco Malfoy remains lost, last seen in Thibodaux, Louisiana, as MACUSA was closing in. Harry is raging, barely in control of his magic, and the rest of the team are battered and unsure. Their recent failure haunts them, as does the spectre of a MACUSA-Ministry alliance under the control of the Quahog administration and its shadow puppetmaster, Aldric Yaxley. The Dementor crisis with Luxembourg is brewing in the background, as is a conflict with Rodolphus Lestrange. And that’s not even mentioning the bargain Blaise struck with Death to return his cup. The team have very little energy or resources for one fight, much less several of this magnitude simultaneously.Should they fail, though, political tyranny will grip both sides of the Atlantic and evils recently banished may return. Each of them is fighting for something they hold dear, but no victory comes without a price. Still, desperate situations call for desperate measures, and desperation appears to be all they have. So, evidently this summer has been cursed, and this is my third late chapter in a row. I am extremely sorry for that–and particularly sorry that this tardiness has been two and a half weeks. :(  Long story short, Noe and I finally moved, but by the time we got mostly upacked and managed to get Internet in our new place, we both got viciously, horribly sick with a flu that has lingered and become a respiratory event. I’ve been sick for weeks, and the past few days are the first time I haven’t slept most of the time I’m not working. So writing slowed down to a trickle, alas, and both @noeeon and @sassy-cissa informed me that getting well was more important than getting words out into a Google Doc. Which I had a hard time hearing, but they were, as always, correct. (Dammit.) But now I’m upright, and while I may still be coughing and sniffling and half-able to breathe, I FINALLY finished this goddamn chapter, YASSSS. 

I hope that you’ll all forgive me–to make it better, I’m going to lay down all 30K (!!!) of Chapter Six right here. Okay?  (And then I’m going to go get loopy on more decongestant and go to bed, because fuck, I’m tired. Also, I know some of you checked in on me this week–I just saw those notes, and thank you so much, I appreciate it more than you’ll know. I’ll try to reply back properly as soon as my brain is off-meds.)
