Chapter One

I look out windows on my bus ride to school. I wonder what lies in wait for me and my family. I may be a simple teenage girl to some but, to others, I am a girl soon to be deported back to my homeland of Cuba. I look like every other white American ( light tan skin, Long Curly Silky Black hair, Eyes Blue like the ocean). To my friends, I am Sofia Castillo but to people like I.C.E., I'm just another Cuban being shipped back there. My family has money and was accused of a crime they didn't commit. I can stay here because I am a citizen. My older siblings and parents are not. They immigrated here and got me citizenship so I could have a better life. The only downside is that I am 15 just had my quince. The only issue with that is the fact I am still a minor according to the great Estados Unidos.

Let me be clear about what I am saying, I am very grateful to the USA but I am extremely pissed off about how my family either needs to plead guilty or split up. I am brushing away droplets of water off of my face as the bus pulls up to the school. It is a private school for the rich and misunderstood. I personally don't know how I ended up here so let us start where it began.

This is so true tho

So apparently a lot of Twitter users are jumping ship and coming here (which is hilarious) and I’ve seen a lot of “welcome to tumblr” posts going around (also hilarious)

But I don’t think I’ve seen a single one address how clout works on this app. Namely that it doesn’t exist. There’s no verification system. There’s no way to check how many followers someone else has. You can have 5 followers or 500,000 and no one is going to care either way.

Also, simply being on tumblr negates any clout you may have elsewhere. Taylor Swift uses this app. No one cares.
