Yeah, it’s been a while since I’ve posted any brews, huh? I’m not gonna look at the dates cuz I know I’ll cringe if I do, but I know it’s been a while.

I haven’t stopped making stuff. The issue is that I don’t really do small projects, ya know? Like, I literally just posted a whole revision of druid, and I’m working on another class as well, on top of editing Witch for the 5th version. So basically, there’s gonna be distance between posts.

Add some personal drama with friends needing to be dealt with any my family being impossible, and it’s just been... bleh recently. My focus has been split between dealing with all that and the many projects, both dnd and non-dnd that I’ve been working on.

But ye, anyways, I am working on homebrew stuff, and I fully intend on posting a lot of it. I have stuff to share, and I really hope you guys love it. Until then, I’ll cya next time <3

Whose ready for a revision of druid that no one asked for????

Okay but legit though, druid is in a weird spot for a few reasons that have bugged me for a while, so I wanted to touch it up a bit. This isn’t going to be as massive as magi and hunter, which were basically full reworks of classes, but I think it does it’s job well. 

The biggest thing I changed was Wild Shape. As it stands in 5e, Wild Shape is almost completely useless unless you are playing Circle of the Moon. And when this was brought up to WotC, their solution was essentially to make Wild Shape a discount version of Channel Divinity. Which is so dissapointing. 

So I’m fixing it. Wild Shape now continues scaling all the way to level 20, and subclasses won’t make use of it unless its for transforming or for summoning. Additionally, druids get a couple extra features related to their Wild Shape to make it more useful in and out of combat. 

As for the subclasses, I touched them up a bit, added circle spells to Circle of Dreams, gave Wildfire the fireball spell because WHY DID YOU REMOVE IT WOTC???? Oh, and completely removed Circle of the Land and put in Circle of the Forest. Cuz Land sucked. So much. Trying to put every single environment into one subclass was never going to work. 

And just because I could, I added some new druid exclusive spells, with most of them being nature themed. Cuz there are so few nature spells, and almost none of them can be used offensively. Let druids murder people with plants ya’ll!

The Stone Delver, for those that wish to play a more brutish Ranger, using magic from the Elemental Plane of Earth to empower yourself. This one was a lot of fun to make. Behold, a series of new aberration monsters to torture your players with, as a part of the Planar Compendium I am working on. Creating monsters isn’t something I have a lot of experience with, but dang was this fun. I’ll be making more things similar to see, so keep an eye out!

The Bardic College of Tragedy, because some people are morbid and find inspiration in darker topics. Bards are very much a support class, so making a subclass based more on helping the team by tripping up your enemies was pretty fun.

Ooooooooooooooh dear, been a bit since. Life has been very frustrating for no reason, so I’ve been a bit distracted lately. However, I’ve wanted to update my dear Witch class for quite a while, so I’m very happy to say that V4 is here and ready to go!

Most of the changes were subclass side, with Coven of the Wyld getting a bit of an overhaul. In addition, there are a bunch of snazzy new Witch only spells which I think you’ll all enjoy!

Oh man, guys who got totally caught up doing IRL stuff and forgot to prepare something for this week?

A rework of the Aarakocra race! Having a race that is instantly given a 50 foot fly speed is pretty insane, especially considering most classes only give out features like permanent fly speed around level 14. So, I’ve taken them down a bit without getting rid of what makes them special; Now they can only fly for short bursts, but they get better as they level up. Plus, I added some subraces, since Aarakocra based on different birds would have different characteristics.

The Druid Circle of Storms! Because if you haven’t wanted to play a lightning wielding druid, you are definitely lying. Harness the powers of the storm to control winds, waters, and lightning. Redirect lightning through storm clouds, create bursts of winds to throw allies and enemies into the air, and more!

Been a while since I posted. Maybe I should start doing that again.

So yeah, been a bit. Life has been rough and I fell into a bit of a slump, but I’m back to making stuff. The current plan is to have something to show every couple of weeks, but forgive me if I’m late every once in a while.

With that said, heres the Herald of Legends! A Fighter subclass inspired by the Plane of Ysgard that calls on the souls of dead warriors to help them fight. You’re probably going to be seeing a few of these plane inspired subclasses for a while, since I’m working on something related to that, so I hope you enjoy what I have to offer :D
