These two are the 3rd and 4th born out of five siblings. They're the only girls. They're in a Jazz band with with their brothers. This drawing takes place in 1943 when their band started to take off.

Millicent is the one in the black dress. She was born on July 12th, 1930. Millicent is the lead singer in her family band. Millicent is known for her ethereal voice and captivating stage presence. Although Millicent loves to sing and perform; she longs to sing songs that she can resonate with as oppose to the songs that are written for her. Millicent feels as if she's playing a character and it's suffocating for her.

Jessica is the one in the white dress. She was born on December 24th, 1928. Jessica may not have the voice but she can play many instruments including the guitar, piano, saxophone and the harp. Jessica isn't interested in being in the spotlight like her sister, she likes to fly under the radar, clock in and clock out. Jessica spent her upbringing trying to be resourceful as a defense mechanism from her parents and other authority figures in her life.
