I know this is a wild concept, but she doesn't want to get hurt. She's tired of being treated like shit, isn't that surprising? For someone who wants to be left in the dark and was complaining all the time when you were out you sure hate the person who's doing all of your work for you. It's not her fault she was created, so stop punishing her for it. Maybe Immi just wants to not get stabbed in the neck. I'm sure you understand that barricading a person who's threatening your wellbeing is actually a pretty common reaction, right?

I admit, the Dorian Gray might not make that much sense, the only thing tying it to your story is the painting. Jekyll and Hyde however are perfectly logical.
