Eleonora wasn’t the most fond of formal events and would usually try and skip out on them. Occasionally she was able to but this time her mother had sent her a dress before she’d even found out the event was happening. Since she was attending the event she also knew that she wasn’t attending it alone. Thankfully she didn’t mind Bane all that much, the few interactions they’d had over the years being rather bearable. Plus both of them usually kept it short, or at least she did. “So how long exactly are we expected to stay?” She asked him after she’d acquired a drink.

carinacarinae:
“Yeah, that was dumb of me to ask.” She replied, “I’ll take the cheese pizza and the buffalo wings then.” She observed the witch as if she were going to say something, but chose not to.
Elle shook her head at the girls comment. Surprisingly it was a question she got fairly often. After she’d ordered, the older woman waited for a moment. “I’ll put that right in- do you want some water while you wait?”

“I wanted to make it easier and order all at once, but I sincerely apologize if that forethought was not up to your standards.” Rita replied, though there was more than a hint of venom in them. “You know what, just surprise me. I’m sure everything is as heartwarming as your attitude.”
Elle had to resist rolling her eyes, already knowing that the girl currently sitting there was probably not going to come back. Honestly she didn’t particularly care, the shop got decent business despite her attitude due to its location. That and the few people on her staff generally handled customers a lot better then she did. “Any allergies? Wouldn’t want to accidentally kill you.” She said, a fake pleasantness on her face.

acciopericulum:
Sturgis looked up from the paper he had been reading, quiet for a moment as he processed what had been said. “Huh? Oh, sorry.” His lips fell into a bit of a frown before he shook it away. “I got kind of distracted by-“ his gaze fell back to the paper for a moment before returning to her. “Something, I kind of forgot I was here. I’m going to order, I swear.” He assured, giving her a smile.
Eleonora didn’t particularly care about whatever his reason was, she just wanted a quick answer. The woman raised an eyebrow at him, shifting her weight. “Do you want a drink at least while you think it over?” She asked him, hoping that would speed up the process.

carinacarinae:
Carina blinked, shaken out of her thoughts by the other witch. “I must have spaced out for a moment. My apologies.” She smiled kindly at the other person and added, “But yes, of course I’ll order something. What do you recommend?”
“Pizza.” She said bluntly. “We also have some pretty good wings too.” Eleonora told her, pulling out the chair from the adjacent table and sitting down.

“I was looking over the menu, it’s my first time here, oh so sorry if that’s inconvenient to you.” the witch replied, rolling her eyes as they turned toward the other. “If it’s so bothersome, I’ll take my business elsewhere.”
Elle shrugged, “Most people would’ve ordered a drink at least by now.” She retorted. The main reason why the woman had bought her own place was for this very reason, she could say whatever the fuck she wanted and not get fired. “You can do that but you won’t find another pizza place within a forty-five minutes from here.”

Eleonora walked over to the table, crossing her arms with a sigh. “If you’re not going to order anything then you’re loitering. And as the sign says, there’s no loitering allowed.”

character development.
q1. what are your thoughts on the charity, pur societatis, created to rebuild the wizarding world after the terror of he-who-must-not-be-named?
“I think people need to give it a chance.” She said, the lie flowing quite easily from her mouth. “They haven’t done anything particularly suspicious or deserving of people’s distrust yet.” Truthfully Elle thought that it was all a bunch of bullshit but that wasn’t something she could say just anywhere.
q2. why did you choose to become a [ Pizza Shop Owner]?
“It was mostly a spur of the moment decision. I needed to do something to pay my bills and it seemed easy enough. I chose pizza because it’s something a lot of people like so I figured it’d be easy to sell.” Elle shrugged.
q3. do you feel safer now that he-who-must-not-be-named is dead? or do you believe he is still out there?
“Oh he’s definitely dead, we’re totally safe.” The sarcasm dripped from her voice heavily but she didn’t voice her actual thoughts. How she thought it was unlikely he was dead that easily. How she thought that even if he was, someone was bound to take his place. So many people shared his ideals and they were bound to act on it.
Personality:
Eleonora has never been one to beat around the bush. In school she was often in trouble for making unnecessary comments. Usually the comments came across as snarky and sarcastic. She was never good at sugar-coating her words, even if she knew it would hurt someone’s feelings. Perhaps it was because she was so used to her own being hurt that she found it only fair if she wasn’t the only one in pain.
Never expecting much of herself or other people, she has low expectations for how things will turn out. Elle figures that if she doesn’t get her hopes up then she won’t get disappointed. Of course that’s not how it plays out, oftentimes she herself feeling the most upset when promises are broken or plans go wrong. A part of her still holding onto what she considers ‘silly ideals’.
As much as Elle would hate to admit it, she’s painfully aware of other people’s thoughts and opinions. If she feels a friend is uncomfortable, she makes some excuse for both of them to leave, taking all the blame on herself. Overly considerate of other people and oftentimes becoming fond of those she finds the most troublesome. By troublesome she means the energetic, outgoing type who are exhausting to be around. As well as those she found to be similar to herself. Other purebloods who held thoughts and opinions different from what had been expected of them. She found herself wanting to help them and support them. Even if she was unable to stick up for herself she couldn’t help but to cheer on those who were braver than her.
Aesthetic:
Biker boots and leather jackets, the scent of cigarettes mixed with rain. Late nights into early morning jogs. Pizza shops and bars. Lingering eyes, hidden glances with unspoken feelings and held back words.
Headcannons:
Boggart: Herself. Or rather, a version of herself that she doesn’t recognize. Someone cruel who hurts others and leaves people behind without remorse. The kind of person she believes herself to be turning into.
Patronus: Something she’s never even attempted, terrified that she won’t be able to even produce one. If she tried though, she would find that she would currently only be capable of creating an incorporeal patronus. One day if it’s ever able to take shape, a cat would be produced.
Sexuality: Elle is fairly positive that she’s a lesbian but is in the closet. If she came out then that would spell trouble for her family, as well as the man she’s currently engaged too. Plus she’s not currently involved with anyone so she believes that it’s fine to pretend as if she likes men since the only one getting hurt is herself.
Eleonora is fluent in Italian, English and French. Though her English does have a slight Italian accent and she has a habit of cursing or ranting in French if she gets particularly angry. She’s also conversational in Russian but definitely would not consider herself fluent. She’s often found herself being used as a translator for friends and family members while traveling, even with languages she’s unfamiliar with. She can get by when speaking to someone who only speaks Spanish or Portuguese due to her knowledge in English and Italian but it is slightly more difficult. Languages are one of the only skills she considers herself to have and actually be quite good at.
Even though it was something that was supposed to be a secret, almost everyone knows that Eleonora’s step-father is not her real father. Whether it’s her grandparents referring to her as the ‘bastard’, her mother making snide comments about her dark hair or even her step-father’s remarks of ‘if you were my daughter’. They all had their own ways of reminding her that she was a mistake and they’re not shy about where they make the comments either.
Eleonora takes after both her parents, though surprisingly she takes after her father the most in both looks and ideals. Though she does take after her mother's drinking habits and bitterness.

When talking about knitting she confessed that the fact that she can do it anywhere—knitting in public, especially on the train, is particularly fun for her, “It’s just a better way to enjoy your commute time instead of being on your phone”—and anytime, like on set for Jessica Jones. “The crew always gets a kick out of seeing me knitting when I’m in full Jessica Jones costume.” — We Are Knitters x Krysten Ritter 2018.
