Eldritch Study Initiative - Interview #2
Name: Cade King
Age: 20
Sex: X
Pronouns: They/Them/Theirs
Interviewing Doctor: Amnesia Torres
Transcript Of Interview:
Amnesia Torres: Hello Cade. Can you introduce yourself please?
Cade King: My name is Cade King, and I’ve been having visions of the future since I was eight years old.
AT: Can you tell me about these visions?
CK: Yeah. I had my first one at eight. I saw someone my uncle knew die. It made me very upset and I ran to him sobbing about it. He assured me it was nothing. Three days later we learned that the death I foresaw had come to pass.
AT: That must have been upsetting.
CK: We thought it was a coincidence at first. But then it happened again. And again. And again. After the first few times I realized I was seeing the future. And that’s how it’s been since.
AT: Can you describe these visions to me?
CK: I usually get the visions while I’m not doing anything very involved. I’m aware of what’s going on around me but I see and hear the vision. I see things happen as if I am there, and it plays out how it will when it happens. I’m sorry if that’s incomprehensible. It’s hard to explain.
AT: How often do these visions come to pass?
CK: Every single vision has come to pass, without exception.
AT: All of them?
CK: Without fail. Whenever I foresee a death, I try to make the most of the time I have with the person whos death I foresaw.
AT: That sounds stressful.
CK: It is. But you get used to it.
AT: Have you experienced any symptoms of Eldritch Madness since you’ve had these visions?
CK: Most people interpreted my attempts to tell them about their futures as ramblings. But it’s simply because no one believes people when they claim to see the future. I used to try to tell people about their futures to help them try to avert them, but it never worked, and every vision has come to pass, no matter how hard I try to thwart them.
AT: No Paranoia or Extreme Obsession?
CK: Back in the day, before I was used to the Visions, but now that I’m used to them I no longer feel that way.
AT: Thank you for your cooperation in this interview.
CK: My pleasure.
*interview ends*
Note: After the interview Cade reached out regarding a vision they had regarding my death if I keep up with this study. I do believe Cade experiences prophetic visions, but I am inclined to disregard this specific vision. I will keep up with this study, as I do not believe it is a threat to my life.

I realize I never posted about the symptoms of Eldritch Madness! Silly me! Here’s the list now!
Extreme Obsession - Those who have had a supernatural experience often become obsessed with said encounter to the point of neglecting everything that is not related to this experience
Secrecy - Often individuals who had a supernatural experience will become secretive and stop speaking to others, hide things that are related to the experience, and just generally keep things secret
Paranoia - People who have had supernatural experiences often become extremely paranoid. Incomprehensible Ramblings - Those afflicted by Eldritch Madness often ramble in a way that most people cannot comprehend. Words often caught amongst the incomprehensible ramblings are Wiggog Y’Wrath, Pokotho, T’Noy Karaxis, Nibblenephim, Bliklotep, Black and White, and Queen in White

Eldritch Study Initiative - Interview #1
Name: Melanie Brooks
Age: 25
Sex: F
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
Interviewing Doctor: Amnesia Torres
Transcript Of Interview:
Amnesia Torres: Hello there Melanie. Can you please introduce yourself?
Melanie Brooks: I suppose. My name’s Melanie Brooks, I’m 25 years old, and I own the old gas station outside of town.
AT: Wonderful. Now, you claim to be being haunted. Can you elaborate on that a bit?
MB: I bought the old Gas Station about a year ago or so, give or take a month. A few months after that strange Graffiti started to appear on the walls after hours. It didn’t even cross my mind that it could be a haunting. Thought it was a one-off thing too. Just cleaned it up and went back to work.
AT: What did you think it was originally?
MB: Teenagers or something. Especially when it kept appearing thought the local miscreants  were causing me some trouble for laughs. Didn’t even really register that the Graffiti was less like some Teenagers doing vandalism and more like the scribbling of a child.
AT: What was this Graffiti of? You’ve said it was like the scribbling of a child, but I’d like to know more.
MB: Most of it was in crayon. There were a lot of just, coloured scribbles. Some drawings of a big stick figure holding hands with a smaller stick figure. The one that really worried me was the writing though. Well. The attempt at writing.
AT: What did it say?
MB: It was hard to decipher, but I’m sure that the two most repeating words were my name, Melanie, and my little sister’s name, Emily.
AT: You mentioned this little sister in your original call to me. Can you tell me more about her?
MB: Yeah. She was about 12 years younger than me. Pale, brown hair, blue eyes. Loved My Little Pony. I ran away from home when I was 20. Wish I could have brought her with me. But I was in such a hurry to leave that I just. Thought she would be fine. And my hurry cost my little sister her life.
AT: What happened?
MB: That’s personal Dr Torres.
AT: Ah. Of course. I won’t pressure you to talk about it if you don’t want to.
MB: Thank you. It’s appreciated. As I was saying. It took me ages to realize what the Graffiti meant. After interrogating the local teenagers, I figured out they didn’t do it, and realized I was being haunted. It took me longer still to realize who it was that was haunting me. At that point, I didn’t know she had died.
*At this point MB broke into tears and took several minutes to collect herself*
MB: I’m really sorry about that. I’ll try to get back on track. I couldn’t see her until I knew who she was. I tried to see her on multiple occasions before I knew who she was. But only after I realized I could see her. I’ve been talking to her as much as possible and trying to take care of her like she’s just a normal kid. I think she deserves that. It took her a while to tell me how she’d died but eventually she managed to tell me. I won’t be sharing anything about that, it’s a family matter. But she’s happy now. We’re a family.
AT: I’m glad she’s happy now. Can you tell me, have there been any noticeable changes in your behavior that your or people around you have noticed?
MB: The only one I can think of is that I became very fixated on finding out who she was for a few months. After I found out it was her I stopped obsessing over it and pretty much returned to normal.
AT: While intense fixation is often a symptom of Eldritch Madness, this doesn’t seem anything out of the ordinary, and it’s only natural of one to be obsessed in that situation. I think the chances of you having Eldritch Madness are relatively low. If anything changes in your behavior in a way that implicates Eldritch Madness you are welcome to schedule a follow up interview. Thank you for your time.
MB: You’re welcome. I may reach out and schedule an interview for Emily if she is willing.

Hello! Welcome to The Eldritch Study Initiative!
My name is Doctor Amnesia Torres! I’m a Psychologist specializing in Eldritch Madness. I’m here in Hatchetfield to study the effects of Eldritch Encounters and the Madness caused by such encounters, and would like to interview anyone who has had such an experience!
All my findings and interviews will be accessible to the public.
I will be reaching out to those rumoured to have had these encounters, but I highly encourage you reach out to me if you have had experience with the Eldritch. I’m more than willing to schedule an interview with you!
(EVERYTHING FROM THIS POINT ON IS OUT OF CHARACTER)
Hi. This is my silly little combination gimmick and roleplay blog run by my silly little Oc, Amnesia! I will be posting the transcripts of interviews Amnesia has conducted on this blog. Now, where’s the gimmick? The Gimmick is that it’s not only canon characters being interviewed! I also happily accept OCs as interview subjects! If you’re interested in having your OC be interviewed, simply reach out and I will set up an interview them. This interview can take place either in the normal posts/reblogs fashion, or in DMs, although posts/reblogs is preferred. Once the interview is finished, a transcript will be posted. This transcript is diegetic, and in universe, is a file in the office of Amnesia Torres.
Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy!
(presentation of the interviews inspired by Pray, Hope, and Wander and They’re Never Coming Back by Flashgen on FIMfiction)
