- he, as both an elf and a vampire, does not technically need sleep

- you, however, absolutely do

- he knows this. he also has an extreme aversion to forcing you to do things you don't want

- so he starts small. suggesting small "sweet, it's quite late, is it not?" as he gently coaxes you into a more relaxed position

- helping you lay down, wherever you need to lay, praising you softly as you relax.

- "i know, my dear, it's hard to sleep, but you remember it's more restful to be awake laying down, yes?"

- never pressures you to go to bed, just coaxes you gently into comfort

- wraps an arm around you, holding you close. he would give amazing backrubs

surprisingly gentle with you, in her own way, as if you were truly her kin

very protective when you’re in a little headspace

tries to not show it, but she absolutely loves whenever you call her familial nicknames.

she lets you practice sword fighting with her, although, a majority of the time she lets you win out of endearment, and never lets you use her actual sword. only sticks from the camp — you are a true warrior, fauntkin.

recites myths and tales from her own childhood to you, giving you insights of her own upbringing

helps you feel more tougher and confident when you're regressed

lots of forehead presses before she lets herself be vulnerable and hold you

tries not to be snappy towards you, remembering the vulnerability you feel

puts matching war paint on your face

Shadowheart

always soft spoken with you, any mistakes you make, will always be dealt with a knowing smile and a gentle tone

in scary areas, she likes to keep you close, in arm’s reach

joins you picking flowers, letting you put one behind her ear, as she does the same for you — there you go, lovely. pretty.

she likes brushing your hair for you before bed, along with letting you do the same to hers. she makes sure to be careful and use water if your hair texture needs moisture

she lets you help her make her hair white, a comfort to both of you

given her trauma and her own mother figure being a cruel Goddess, she would feel as if it were her purpose to be a gentle mother figure for you, making sure her misery would not continue through you

when you get a graze or a cut, she uses her healing and blessing powers to save you from tears

loves watching you play with scratch and joins in from time to time

Astarion

cares for you more than he’d like to admit

teases you for every little thing, just to make you giggle

very snobby and only lets you try the best food and the best toys, books etc

likes to stargaze with you to lull you to sleep

only picks the finest of roses for you, making sure to snip off all the thorns

was so afraid that you would get scared of him when it was revealed he was a vampire, but had a sappy cuddle with you when you made it clear you weren’t

isn’t too keen on you seeing him with blood on his skin, even if it’s a small dribble—just juice, darling, don’t fret.

however, if you don't wanna be left out on his vamp antics, he'll pour you a glass of cranberry juice so you can feel involved

when you two are playful, he'll chase you around the camp, saying he'll eat you when he catches up, but really, he's just tiring you out for bed

personally, i think you being in a little headspace would make him feel safe and he would even regress a bit sometimes with you, hesitantly. that shared innocence is so gentle and safe, i think he’d finally feel like a weight was off his shoulders

he had feared the sinking feeling he would experience by being back in the streets of baldur’s gate, but seeing you squeal and get excited over different things in shop windows, made all his anxieties and paranoia go away

Gale

Sweet thing. Kiddo. Pet. Lovebug. Starlight.

likes to think of himself as a cool uncle, but isn’t opposed when you use nicknames that are a different familial role

conjures up your favourite animal or insect with his magic to cheer you up when you’re upset

also uses his magic when he reads you bedtime stories, projecting the images of the scenes in purple mist, making things more fun and whimsical for you, which ultimately helps you get more comfy

lets you style his hair, even with hair-clips and bows

after you style his hair, he refuses to change it until it’s bedtime. he will be walking around the goblin camp with pigtails, sometimes just to see you giggle — hey. what’s so funny? do i happen to have something on my face? what? what is it, lovebug?

wouldn’t want to alarm you when he needed a magical item, but your head laying on his chest while you nap makes it all better

likes watching you babble with tara, how she sits on your lap, allowing you to pet her fur and feathers

when its time for bed, he’s just as clingy as you are! maybe even more clingy!! he likes making sure you’re all cozy in bed, holding your favourite plushie before he snuggles with you, lulling both of you to sleep

Wyll

like lae’zel, he’d be quite protective when you’re in littlespace

patient and understanding, will never rush you or be stern

quite affectionate, hugs, headpats & kisses on your forehead and the back of your hand. he's a gentleman!

tells you all the stories of his battles and triumphs, jestingly getting bashful when you muse about how brave or heroic he is—it was all worth it to end up by your side, my love.

similar to astarion, he was quite fearful you would be scared of him after he was changed into a devil, but held you so close when you expressed that you cared for him all the same

lets you dance with him when he does, it’s always good to have a partner

he lets you wrap daisy chains around his horns

tuts if you ever slip up with swear words, but he smiles warmly nonetheless

fencing practice! but like lae'zel, you only use sticks to stay safe

has a bedtime for you, musing soft words as you whine about wanting to stay up with him, and of course, you give up and fall asleep as you’re cradled by him

Karlach

Soldier. Sunshine. Kiddo. Rascal. Champ.

likes to carry you on her shoulders, no matter your big age. you’re still small to her, no matter what

she trusts you with clive

she lets you nap in her tent, holding you close as you hold clive between the two of you

big bear hugs that lift you off the ground

absolutely loves making sandwiches for you, cutting them in different shapes. from hearts to dinos, always making sure to cut off the crusts (unless you like them, of course, they can be a lil snack on the side!)

you two have a nightly routine before bed of running from the set-up fire in camp, all around everyone’s tents, back to the fire again. whoever loses is a smelly toad. of course you always cheat and get a head start, of course she lets it happen. — okay. y’ready? three… two—wait! soldier, cheating again?! aghh.. you know you’re faster than me!

like astarion, she lets herself regress a bit around you. it’s those moments that somehow cool down her burning heart

gets just as excited and hyper as you, if anything, she makes you even more hyper

if you want a snack heated up, she’ll immediately just hold it in her hands until it’s warm enough, not too hot

you want warm milk? no prob! she’ll just hold your glass until it’s the temperature you want

Halsin

he’s already naturally like a caregiver so you’re in good hands!

very affectionate, lots of gentle hugs and forehead kisses

collects safe berries from the forest and prepares them for you as snacks

transforms into whatever animal you would like for nap-time snuggles. from a small cat to sprawl in your arms to a large grizzly bear for you to have as a huge teddy bear

he encourages the familial nicknames you give him, feeling a sense of purpose when you call him dada/papa/baba

he loves carving wooden animals for you, mainly your favourite animal/s. ducks too, of course

he, like karlach, also likes carrying you on his shoulders, but also in his arms too. but you’d always be small in comparison to him anyway

speaking of which, whenever he sees you after a day or even a few hours, he immediately picks you up in his arms, spinning the both of you around—oh, dove, how i missed you.

keeps all the pretty rocks you excitedly gift him

when you wake up from a nap in the grass, theres always colourful flowers all around you, ones that he conjured, just for you!

Minthara

grumpy, but secretly smiles at you when you turn your back

very protective of you, will make sure nobody even gives you a side glance

a strict caregiver, yet cackles at bad behaviour you exhibit. it’d be a lie to say she does not encourage it

muses about her kin and their wars, a fond smile rising on her face as she sees the curious and mischievous sparkle in your eyes

oh, she also sword fights with you, but lets you try out one of her lighter swords. she trusts herself to not let anything bad happen. besides, the thought of using sticks makes both of you laugh. maniacally.

if a spider gets inside, she will coo comfort to you as she brings it outside / if you have a liking for spiders, she lets you hold it, speaking on it’s species and what they mean to her people

in moments of gentle vulnerability, she lets you thread your fingers through her white locks—not too rough now, alvassun

gets you all the sour sweets you like

usually collects some plants/flowers from the underdark just to gift them to you
