Shows title card of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 . This has been the JRPG game I’ve been waiting to play for a while now. I never got the chance to play the first iteration for the Wii but I know it got really amazing reviews so it’s exciting to finally get my fix on some crazy Japanese anime storytelling. I just really loved the first couple of seconds when the game starts. The melancholy piano playing in the background with the harsh weather conditions foreshadowing that this will be another game with over +70 of adventuring. . Those crazy japanese game designers man. talks Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition All Hell Breaks Loose . Rayman was the first game I ever truly consciously played when I was 4, for the Playstation 1. Ubisoft had the old logo with the rainbow. What I mean to say is that I grew up with this. Rayman was my hero when I was a child. Not Batman, not Goku, it was Rayman! walkthroughs Super Mario Odyssey Torkdrift Fight . Torkdrift will launch out three glowing appendages and house them in bricks, and it’s your job - as an Uproot - to extend upward and break the blocks to strike at the orbs. While you do this, the machine will start targeting the ground with a blue circle before firing with a laser, so keep moving, and dodge when the circle stops and turns red. If you need extra health, note the blocks that ring the arena far up, and you can extend up to them to find hearts. . Once you destroy all three appendages, Torkdrift will be stunned and turn upside down, revealing an exposed dome you can lift up into and damage. It will retaliate by righting itself, and using the laser at the bottom to create several shockwave circles. Lift up with the Uproot to hop over them in succession, and watch for the last circle which extends higher up. . In the next phase, the appendages will have even more blocks that surround them, and the machine will spin them around while still firing lasers at you. Get in front of the path of an appendage and lunch upwards to chip away at the blocks or get right in the middle to hit the glowing orb. You can also find a few hearts buried in the blocks that surround the orbs. . After all the orbs have been smashed again, repeat the process of attacking the dome underneath Torkdrift, then get ready to hop over more shockwaves that vary in height, so give yourself time to extend fully near the back of the arena. . In the last phase, Torkdrift will move faster, fire faster, and encase the orbs in even more blocks. Make sure if you’re extending that you hop to the side afterwards, or you’ll likely land in fire after a laser has been shot. If you need to wait until it stops moving to try and target you for a chance to get under the middle of the blocks for a direct hit. As you run around, you’ll no doubt spot several chunks of ice on the ground. Getting him to punch one of them will daze Knucklotec’s fist (and if the ice holds a red heart, you can grab some health recovery). Once dazed, use Cappy on Knucklotec’s fist to capture it, and then rocket towards the statue’s face. He’ll summon ice blocks with his other hand to try and slow you down, so zoom around them to get at his face, or you’ll run out of time. . As you knock him back with his own fist, he’ll hover outside the arena and start sending both fists rocketing to you. Thankfully, they have a lot of ground to cover, giving you a chance to start running to the side and dodge them as they go by. When he returns to the center, he’ll slam both fists on the ground to cause more ice to fall from above - keep moving to stay out of the shadows of the falling ice. . When he returns to his original patterns, get ready to capture another fist, and send it back at his face. At the end of this next phase, he’ll swap out slamming the ground to instead bring his hands on both sides of you in an effort to catch you between them. The moment they stop moving, long jump or dash out of the way, and keep your momentum going as he’ll do it several times. .
