thank u for the ask!!! uhm this shit embarrassing lowk but I was first introduced to j&h cuz I was 😔 a nerd. who would’ve thought 💔 I just wanted to read the book so I did 💔 lame ass origin story. Henry Jekyll didn’t kill my parents, Edward Hyde didn’t steal any candy from me when I was a baby. I was in middle school and decided to read a bunch of classical literature and read J&H first but like… got so obsessed I wouldn’t read any more gothic lit until a year or two later 😭😭 type shit. Might have ancient fanart lying around if I can find it. Also I eventually listened to the musical religiously cuz it fucks hard even if it’s not super book accurate 😔💔

I still don’t have a solid design of Henry Jekyll. This man is deeply intangible to me, which is funny because the man who is supposed to be intangible (Edward Hyde) I have a fairly solid design for.

Also I hope Bruce looks as himbo as a himbo can be here. My man has perfected the art of himboing about social interactions for the sake being a menace and I wish to do that justice. The GoodTimedWithScar of DC I’d say.

IDK YET I’ve been sweating over it 💔 need to brainstorm but this is what I have so far: in the end notes of the last chapter I posited wekyll wakyll jayne hruce cuz they’re funny. wekyll is the least goofy one because it’d be pronounced we-kill based on Jekyll’s correct pronunciation but it’s a lie!!! Batman doesn’t kill!!

not really spoilers but later chapters use a shit ton of allegories comparing Jekyll/Hyde to a shrike so maybe shrikebat but Shrike is already a DC character 💔 there’s also lame options like doctorbat and shit but idk. One day I’ll think of something profound 💔💔
