Teasers Revealed for New Solo Artist

Teasers for Eclipse Entertainment’s second solo artist have been posted on their Instagram and Youtube.

The new artist, in question, is 21 year old Lee Ozara, confirmed by the Eclipse Entertainment official website. She will be debuting with a solo mini album, to be released on August 15. 

An official teaser has been posted on Eclipse Entertainment’s YouTube channel as well. Ozara has also spoken slightly about it on an Instagram live, saying:

“I can’t really say anything...it’s all confidential. I’m really proud of it, and I composed and wrote and helped choreograph it, so I hope my hard work pays off. You’ll all see. Anyway, August 15th! 6 PM! Don’t miss it!”

Jay and ANGEL have both confirmed on their Twitters that Ozara’s album is almost entirely self-produced.

Two Male Trainees Revealed at Concert

Two more Eclipse Entertainment trainees have been revealed, this time at ANGEL’s solo concert in Seoul. 

Two members of a mysterious upcoming boy group opened the concert with an energetic performance of Triple H’s “365 FRESH.” The two were introduced as trainees Raehwan and Yeo. Their real names, ages, positions, and group names remain unknown. However, they are both singers and rappers. 

ANGEL later posted pictures and videos of their performance on her Twitter and Instagram, captioning it with:

No statement has been made by Jay, ANGEL, or the company.

New Trainee Revealed

A new Eclipse Entertainment trainee has been revealed.

Said trainee, identified as 22-year-old Kim Ree Ah, was spotted waving to paparazzi as she rode in the passengers seat of co-CEO ANGEL as she drove away after a performance.

ANGEL has clarified the situation on her Twitter, saying:

“i see some of you have found some info on my trainee ree ah lmao...yeah she was with me to take notes from my performances and to get some experience backstage. she’ll debut soon, don’t worry about it. in the meantime, please respect her privacy and stop poking around her instagram and twitter. i promise yall there’s nothing to see. thanks guys!”

Since then, both ANGEL and Jay, as well as the official Eclipse Entertainment accounts have followed Ree Ah on all social media.

Eclipse Entertainment’s First Male Trainee Revealed

Eclipse Entertainment’s first male trainee has been spotted outside of the Eclipse Entertainment building.

Eclipse Entertainment has yet to release a statement as well as any information about said trainee, but press has identified him as 20-year-old Kang Chin Mae. Their website has not been updated nor has any information been posted about him on Instagram.

New SUNSPOT Member Revealed

Once again, Eclipse Entertainment has mysteriously revealed another member of their upcoming girl group, SUNSPOT. 

Just like they did for the first member, they posted a picture of the newest member on their Instagram, then updated their Instagram. The above member is named Sky, and was born in 2003. All other information, like her real name and position have yet to be revealed.

Jay elaborated on her Twitter, saying “yall are gonna be shocked when you see the rest of the group. you can’t even begin to fathom what i have in store lmao”

Eclipse Entertainment To Send Trainees To Participate on Survival Show

Eclipse Entertainment has released a statement that their recently revealed trainee, Lune, will be participating in the survival show DREAM IDOL. The show will create a project group made up of trainees who survive, and has recently begun shooting.

The statement reads:

“Hello, this is Eclipse Entertainment.”

“We are happy to announce that our trainee, Stephanie Selene Moon, or LUNE, will be participating in the survival show Dream Idol. She has been diligently training to participate in it, and we are excited to give her the opportunity to promote more. First Member of Upcoming Eclipse Girl Group Revealed

Eclipse Entertainment has announced their first upcoming girl group, as well as its first member. 

While they posted only a picture of the first member on their Instagram with no caption, their official company website has been updated. The upcoming group is named SUNSPOT, and the first member, pictured above, is named LUNE. She was born in 2002, but no other information, such as her position and real name, is available on the website.

ANGEL elaborated on this in a tweet, tweeting “I can’t say any more about SUNSPOT. You’ll know more when we’re ready for you to know.”

Jay has not commented on the situation at all. An official statement has yet to be released.

ANGEL Makes Her Solo Debut With Mini Album

Nearly ten years after ANGEL’s debut in INFU510N, she has finally released her first solo mini-album. The album, titled “ON MY OWN” was released on May 28, 2020, and consists of six tracks, all composed, produced, and written by ANGEL herself.

The album has two title tracks, “Who Dat B” and “Solo.” Currently, “Solo” is at #4 in Korea, while “Who Dat B” is at #7. The music video for “Solo” currently has over 36 million views, and they are only expected to go up in the coming days. Many fans of ANGEL have been waiting for her solo album since she was in INFU510N. There were rumors of her releasing music after winning Unpretty Rapstar, but it never happened.

ANGEL is also currently trending on Naver.

She spoke about her album at her press conference, saying:

“Many fans have speculated that the reason I took so long to release music was because of my company, or because of the members, or this or that. Actually, the reason it took so long for me to release music was because I was so busy. I promoted with INFU510N nearly every year, often multiple times. ANGEL Signs to Eclipse Entertainment, Named Co-CEO

Rapper and leader of former girl group INFU510N, ANGEL, signs to Eclipse Entertainment. The label was founded by former bandmate Jay, and the company recently released a statement announcing ANGEL as CEO of the company. The statement reads:

“Hello, this is Eclipse Entertainment.”

“We’re happy to announce that rapper, idol, singer, and former INFU510N member ANGEL has signed to Eclipse Entertainment. She has also been hired for a management position at Eclipse Entertainment, and she and Jay will function as co-CEOs of Eclipse Entertainment.”

“ANGEL is also participating in songwriting and composing for Eclipse Entertainment as well as preparing new songs and material for her next comeback. ANGEL graduated from NYU and has degrees in business and music production, so she is perfectly qualified for the position. She is settling into her position as a member of the management team and the creative team, and she is continuing to work hard for her fans.”

ANGEL also recently elaborated on a livestream, saying:

Jayden Kim Founds Eclipse Entertainment

Jayden Kim, otherwise known as Kim Jae Eun, or by her stage name, Jay, founded Eclipse Entertainment on February 16, 2017. However, she has just recently announced it to the public, as well as her reasoning.

The former singer debuted in a girl group called INFU510N on June 1, 2010 under a small label with nine members—Lai, Anna, Evelyn, Grace, ANGEL, Akari, Julie, Sumin, and Jay herself. The group lost members and spent most of its career with only five members, Evelyn, ANGEL, Akari, Sumin, and Jay. However, the group officially announced its disbandment in early 2020 after all their contracts came to an end and all the members chose to leave the company.

In a live video on Instagram, Jay said—

“I love INFU510N with all my heart. They’re my best friends. I mean, we spent our entire childhoods together, our teen years, and our twenties. But I think we’ve all grown out of our girl group stage, you know? We’re not teenagers anymore. I mean, Evelyn’s getting married this fall, Angel’s got her solo stuff, Akari’s acting now, and Sumin’s still singing, too, so I just thought that it’s time for me to go my way, you know? I went to NYU, for God’s sake. I’m a music major and a business minor. It would really suck to just...not do anything with it. But you have to trust me, okay? I have some stuff planned, some big things coming up. That’s why I didn’t tell you guys sooner. No point in having a company if you have nothing to show, right? Well, I have some stuff now, so just wait and see! Trust me!”

There have also been rumors of Jay signing some INFU510N members to her company, specifically ANGEL, as Evelyn, Akari, and Sumin have already signed to other labels, but no statements have been released on her part.
