I just read your post and for what it’s worth, I’m so fucking sorry. Not in the same exact way, but I know what it’s like to have a friend pull away and then have them back and lose them again in a crushing fashion.

imagine your best friend of 8 years deciding that you’re too clingy so she stops being your friend and then a year later you become friends again and you’re friends for 9 months before she gets into an argument with you and blames you for trying to break up her and her boyfriend (????) and then 2 more years pass and she reaches out and takes responsibility for that argument and says she wants to be friends again and you’re hesitant but you miss your friendship so much so you agree and you start talking a lot again and then she stops responding to your messages mid convo and doesnt reach back out and it’s been over a month and you’ve been confused but you’ve already reached out once and she responded and then stopped again so you’re not gonna keep putting in effort if she doesn’t want to either bc that’s not fair but then she posts on her instagram story that she’s starting a book club and she never mentioned it to you even tho you’re an avid reader and love reading and talking about books so you see the story your feelings get hurt bc you’ve read 100 books this year and would truly love to be in a book club but she obv knows about your love for books and didn’t invite you anyways
