I personally choose to believe Logan did get blipped but halfway through his healing factor kicked in and pulled his particles back together, and then when everyone got unblipped he kinda just felt his body tighten then relax like his particles were checking they’re all there.

Logan definitely sweats more than average due to his mutation but not due to the animals aspect I believe, the foul smelling secretions from the anal glands are the closest I can find in terms of articles on the subject, these are musk glands specifically to indicate a fear-defence response so not sweat, but as wolverines are warm blooded mammals it’s fair to assume they do have some sweat glands to regulate body temperature. I can find mentions of wolverines marking territory with scent glands and it’s possible these scent glands are the same as the sweat glands. If op knows of an article that’s goes more into depth on wolverines methods of marking territory I would love to read it cause it sounds cool asf.

Since I don’t have it as reference I’ll use the other theory, which is that Logan’s body exists in a very specific equilibrium. He has cold bones so his body raises the internal temperature, but it goes too far and begins to reach dangerous levels so the body sweats to regain control of the body, this cools him and the bones become too cold so the cycle restarts to hold the balance.

On top of this sweat will moisten his palms more than his knuckles therefore it’s easier to separate the two to control the ejection of the claws as it’s been shown in comics he can fire through his palms. Logan’s body is smart. It creates fresh cells rapidly and thus can withstand massive changes to adapt to the situation quickly, he can literally evolve quicker. In Logan he eats the food with the mutant killing chemical, his body recognises this and sweats more to actively flush out the toxin, which is why four of these evidence pictures are all from Logan.

Do you think Logan sweats more than the average person? I think his metabolism is constantly in overdrive having to increase his body temperature to make up for the metal on his bones that cools everything down. Or could it be part of his mutation? Wolverines are said to have special sweat glands to mark their territory. Anyways there are a lot of scenes in the movies where his undershirt is just soaked and yellow with sweat, even if he wasn't physically active

Concept for all you writers out there. Wolverines (the animal) naturally secrete a foul smelling oder from their anal glands when provoked or frightened, now imagine Logan comes home to live with Wade and he absolutely stinks. Like seriously, not even the fanciest of soaps keep the smell away for long. And then all of a sudden, one day after a few months of living together the smell suddenly goes away. Wade doesn’t know why but yippee I guess, no more stink, and then one day he does Google it to figure out what that smell was and realises the smell stopped because Logan finally felt fully comfortable living with Wade.

And maybe he makes fun of him a little bit or he never tells anyone and uses the smell to gauge Logan’s actual emotions.

A question that’s risen in my mind recently: can Logan ever get sick?

This came to my mind because well I’m a sucker for sickfic. A character in pain and then getting appropriate care and comfort to both heal and build stronger bonds with their loved ones? Perfect. But you can’t really write a sickfic for Logan, right? Well, maybe.

See in your stomach you have natural bacteria, the good kind. Gut flora is necessary for digestion and your health gut health overall. Logan of course has these, but they can be killed. Antibiotics. Of course they kill bacteria and can wipe out the average persons gut flora. Logan’s would likely be super strong, but if he was constantly pumped full of an incredibly potent one (i.e. Vancomycin 3.0 the strongest antibiotic there is) then it would theoretically overwhelm his body temporarily.

As seen when his adamantium skeleton was ripped out, under immense stress and damage his healing factor can be messed up, so it’s reasonable to suggest if he was captured in a form and tortured while having the steady stream of antibiotics the stress on his mind and body would fuck with his healing and wipe out his gut flora.

For the average person recovery from having their gut biome wrecked would be about one-two months, possible longer. So for Logan this would probably be about one week at most, but that still one week of sickness for a man who hasn’t really been sick since 1845, which would mess with him severely.

Basically yeah, he can get sick but of course as with everything Logan related he’d gotta suffer majorly to suffer more to recover.

I don’t think anyone cares about this or wants it but if any fic writers crave the angst of a sickfic with Logan but have believed he can’t get sick, I bring the answers. Of course you can always just say ‘fuck you he’s sick my fic my rules’, that works too.

It is absolutely insane to me that some people think Charles is this UwU cutie pie innocent sweetheart. Baby he had a kill count before he even got out the womb, Magneto took the adamantium from Logan and in response Charles mind-fucked him so hard he got put into a vegetative state and then became a whole new entity that was so powerful it took basically every single marvel hero to take him down, because he thought Logan was dead. Not to mention that he is terrifying, he could be in a bad mood and cause an extinction event in response.

But in all fairness he is a cutie pie and a sweetheart. I love him. But please, let him be the bad bitch he is meant to be.

Makes no sense but uhhh Kurt Wagner has ARFID in my mind.

My reasoning? I want a character to relate to. Plus all his favourite foods are processed foods which very commonly is the preferred safe foods of those with ARFID as they are near guaranteed to have a consistent taste and texture.
