Ive been thinking allot about romance recently. One of my favourites was in "An American Werewolf in London" between our cursed lead and the ever so cool nurse Alex.

The Parasites - Rat Ass Pie

As ive been post mortemly thinking of why my life reeks and why time flies when your dead & gone. I have been listening to the “Parasites” & sometimes even the doomed kinda find a little hope.

The bands fith album “Rat Ass Pie” released in “1998″  has been their most personal album to me! From connecting things like “Pop Punk” and Messing things up on a adult level (Not the school yard shit of blink 182). its upbeat but oftenly sad lyrics relating to my own relationships personal and band related. 

Sometimes we just gotta shove the pain and move on... Yippee truly upbeat!

Inbetween making dirt shirts of my favourite psychedelic pussy band I actually listen to the band. "Ann Ferguson's" vocals are a thing of beauty, strangeness, truths and pure relaxation! Give "Folk Song" a jab when your next on acid.

"The Power of Pussy" being the title of my favourite album probably of the 90's (Ann hear my cry and release a book) but also the first song that got me into the band and the idea of being without a label! Lets love each other without tags & laugh about how stupid and weird everything is.

I have really been falling in love with “Siouxsie And The Banshees” during my daily walks behind the row, im really digging the gothic punk undertones in her voice! ohh baby would I be rolling in pure glee... if the other headphone on my pair worked. 

Thankfully I have a pretty good sound system at home, its powered by the souls of the tenants before me! and it plays Siouxse all around the room. I have been making my way through all the bands hits such as “Happy House” and “Cities in dust” which im definitely a fan off but it has to be “Painted Bird” and their cover of “The Beatles” “Dear Prudence” that are my favorite so far. They are so fuckin dreamy......

Release a cd box-set of sadness and fill it with “Type O Negative, My Bloody Valentine and Siouxsie And The Banshees”.I’d buy that for a dollar!

Oh Yeah and before I forget Siouxsie’s fashion sense is also as just off the charts as her vocals! Cant wait to hear more from them.

Normally I do these blogs in a exaggerated character of myself but not this one im just “Stephen McKeown” on this one.

God I really have became unconnected to the world, memorys like this one from my bands last tour in “Spain” really keep me going I had such a blast playing over there last year it was fucking beautiful in every sense of the term.

We played on Halloween which was sick sick sick, Halloween is still like the old days you remember over there I Highly recommend it and its people. However Halloween in “Northern Ireland” has lost its charm its just not fun anymore, people are uncaring and rude, buildings are empty or packed with assholes and dressing up means more of hiding all the insecurities you have. 

Its not for me anymore, Id love to hear from anyone who reads this how their Halloween went if it was a nice time or a grim time like mine.

I cant believe im saying this but im glad its over! ...................

“Look into my blank eyes keep going, fade into the blackness of torrential eternity and die” Those are the feelings I get from listening to “John Carpenters” wonderfully hard stabbing sound track to the not so good “Halloween 2018″. I think John must have had his eyes closed when creating the score...

Welcoming back John from his last Halloween sound track since my personal favorite of the sequels “Halloween III season of the witch”. John well and truly swats the cockroaches of the old synth and kicks it straight into over driven pulsing horror goodness whilst also paying a great deal of tribute to his original 1978 classic. The piano theme we all know and love is updated and sounding as fresh as ever. But whilst the original was mainly piano! There are some new players in the mix.

Joining John this time are his son “Cody Carpenter” and nephew “Daniel Davies” who believe me have been doing a fantastic job playing alongside big John on his last few albums “The lost themes”. They have been adding young talented hands into the fold and you can tell when it comes to barbaric sounding guitar riffs that chainsaw into the mix every now and then.

My only complaint is that during the new film there is a particular scene that has old audio of “Dr Loomis” talking about Michael’s evil that works so fuckin well accompanying the soundtrack that I wish they put it on the album with the track. That’s all though I really love John Carpenters return to scoring films I have a special place in my cold dead heart for his music.

Now from one boogey man to another it was not “John” or even “Michael’s” fault that the new film failed to me, it was the lack of originality and constant references to the old series. “Its like a patch work quilt of your favorite things surely you gotta like it” “Nah mate seen it before” That is all i am going to say on the film I don’t have much hope left for the “Slasher” genre. Directors with a budget just cant get it up...

“What in the unholly fuck have I become a man with no hands and a deluding mind!" Nah my internet has been off again and i have been struggling this month with the old pound notes.... and my sanity.

On Eatin Entrails I normally talk about things I like more than anything but Im cutting the crap on this month of “Spooktober”. I really have not been enjoying it for the first time in my life (insert shocked noise) its almost like life itself is trying to keep me from my un-dead delights.

The local popcorn munching hole which I love to visit when im not screaming grind, has been declining this month. I went to go see “Rocky Horror Picture Show” and the new “Halloween” both had barely any attendees and both where lacking the excitement I normally felt when watching films this month. I understand I live in “Northern Ireland” but normally I hear abit of excitement watching a film.

Now onto the next load of shit and another thing that I have noticed over the weekend that everyone is already over and done with “Halloween” everyone partied way too hard and not having my favorite venue in the whole world “The Warzone” about its been tough......

But anyway Ill be back on Halloween with a few surprises I have a party to go and a costume to make money depending..... Plus a review of my Favourite Halloween “Simpson Segments”. 

Anyway get some “Grindcore” blasting “Napalm Death” “From Enslavement to Obliteration” is one of my Favourites of the genre! Blast it loud and smash some pumpkins! My love for horror will never die but why is Halloween becoming yesterdays news.... Maybe cause of Brexit....
