This is true, and the same can be said for the other side of the fence as well. Some people, instead of trying to be constructive, are just mired in their negativity and desire to criticize every action, decision, or choice of words. Anyone who even hints at disagreeing gets immediately labeled as whatever the derogatory-name-of-the-month is. It’s like people can’t have their own opinions, or even approach criticism from a different direction (i.e., constructively). It’s too bad there aren’t more level-headed people (on both sides).

look i haven’t got anything against lioden’s positivity culture but some of it seems less like “actually things aren’t always so bad, maybe it’d be good to appreciate the stuff we like sometimes because games are meant to be fun” and more like “anyone who dislikes anything and expresses it to any degree is a bully and an asshole and should be made to feel guilty or uncomfortable about it”

like i very much understand how sour attitudes spring up and begin to populate communities like this - i catch myself about to get sucked into That Bullshit sometimes and this is one of the main things that makes basically all Talking Animal Games unbearable because of their communities past a certain point - but those attitudes are not assuaged by people telling anyone with a harmless but negative opinion that they need to shut up

basically positivity is great and anyone harping on good intentions probably needs some more chill, but it’s not very positive to tell people to stop expressing their opinions in a way that is a bit on the nose but isn’t actually hurting anyone

Actually, I created an account to provide a link to something that demonstrated Jax was pulling something from her own ass (which she then refuted with some ridiculous argument as she usually does). I just can’t stand to see misinformation propagated on a regular basis. But hey, if I’m the one with no life for wanting people to have facts rather than conspiracy theories, I guess I have no life. What you were doing was restating the same illogical points over and over. At times contradicting yourself (a common theme with you), and failing to grasp basic logic. Add to that the fact that your basic line of defense is labeling anyone that doesn’t agree with your inane arguments with whatever term-of-the-month you decide to construct. So you use the term “nerf” on the site, where no one (your words) uses it in the context of punishment, yet you expect everyone to magically know you were talking about punishment. Is it sinking in yet? “Everyone on the site uses this word to mean game mechanics!” “I was using it to mean something else! Based on context that 90% of the players on here know nothing about!”

Jax provides screenshots of multiple people using nerf in the sense Jax used it in. Anons n pancake keep saying only Jax says nerf like that. Okay bud.
