Over the last few months I've been so busy producing, directing, video editing, and doing artist development with my 6 year old son Youngtrell. That I haven't posted anything to my account. I do think the Lord for this positive journey, and for allowing me to teach him and guide him in the right direction on this summer release of his new single "Not" which now is available on iTunes International, local, and regional. as a independent artist. I will have to admit that I had no clue that he would pursue this, not to mention stay focused and even if he quits tomorrow, this wonderful journey will always be a great memory for us to share. as I mentioned I'm the producer of his new single. and him and I wrote the song together. no matter how much time it took. it was a professional experience for the both of us. as I look at him I can see the growth, and I very much appreciate him as a person. he has now 6 shows under his belt. we are scheduled to do Harlem week this year. his brand new video for the single will be available within a week International. let's all pray that it is a great success. #youngtrell #earldean #earldeanmusic #donte909 #ascapmusic #musicbusiness #newmusic #$ #success #hardwork #youngtrellmusic #youngprodigy #DefJamrecords #universalrecords #MotownRecords

A random thought. I normally share my post because I'm happy and satisfied with my life. And I thank God for each and every opportunity. Each and every day that I wake up I'm in control of my life. I'm in control of who I have in my parameter. I am aiming only for success. I am loyal to only me and my family. Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their selfish minds, business ways, cannot change anything. It's a shame that people cannot hold a respectful conversation. Because we are too caught up being better than other. We are created the same and we are leaving this world the same way. Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.

Being a father has been, without a doubt, my greatest source of achievement, I am proud of who my kids are, and it doesn't matter how many times I may disagree on choices they make in life. I guide them to the best of my ability. I am proud and inspired by the choices they make. Fatherhood has taught me about unconditional love, reinforced the importance of giving back and taught me how to be a better person. I am able to understand my faults in life, I want to congratulate all the men out there who are working diligently to be good fathers whether they are stepfathers, or biological fathers or just spiritual fathers. This is absolutely a rough road to take walk or ride. But at the end of the day if you don't know how to show you love. Don't be afraid to hold a conversation. Up late working, while the world is asleep. With nothing, no one, to distract me. The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand. People will find more things important than your destiny. In order to accomplish great work together. One of the challenges in networking is everybody thinks it's making cold calls to strangers. Actually, it's the people who already have strong trust relationships with you, who know you're dedicated, smart, a team player, who can help you. There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else.

The only source of knowledge is experience. And it takes nothing but determination to make you powerful. Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes. Practice in understanding your mistakes can make you the best performer the world can ever know. And practice can make you stronger if you are focused to pursue an impossible dream. In this business it takes more than just a handsome face, and even what's more important. You have to be powerful mentally and emotionally to perform in front of unfamiliar faces. Yesterday my son performed at his second show performance, and immediately broke down in the middle of the song. Because of the sound system he could not hear the song. The dj had his music playing to low. As a parent watching your 5 year old from a distance as a consumer. You immediately go into protective mode, I wanted nothing more than to just pull him away from this mad circus before it destroy his confidence. As we sat on the side until the event was over all he kept saying or should I say whispering to me is, I can't believe I messed up. But as a professional, you look at it as a learning experience. The original school of hard knocks, is to become something, that you are not aware of. As I think back the ride home was quiet. And after he settled in for bad time, he immediately went to sleep. But I was the one who woke up every hour horrified from his experience. only to fall asleep and wake up at 5 a.m. with him standing over me with the cordless mic in his hand, staring at me., wanting to practice. And that's when the parent kicked in. Son please go back to sleep. I tucked him back into bed and now I can't sleep. and the irony of it, he has two shows today, and a radio show interview tomorrow.

Late night early morning, I could have been there but instead I preferred to be here. I don't need drugs to stimulate my mind. I don't drink to increase my confidence. I am Who I am, and I am absolutely proud of who I am. There are risks and costs to actions, you either do or you don't. You either live or complain. There are far less than the long range risks of uncomfortable inactions. God willing that I wake up tomorrow.
