     kids. this girl looked young enough to BE a kid. she was the example as to why DEATHSTROKE didn’t have KIDS. slade didn’t have kids, not that he had to raise anymore.

     rose wilson was her own woman. she was still naive, she made mistakes, but she understood: she made her own bed, and she’d lie in it. slade never wanted to raise her, for reasons. but he did raise joey and grant. up to a point. joey was a good boy, completely different from his family. kind-hearted. warm. and despite what slade did to him, adeline, nourished him back to health. and joey eventually stood on his own. grant? did everything on his own. wanted to be nothing like his old man and became just that. he took too much on and DIED for it. either way, the kid was independent. they all made sure to be independent from him. so slade didn’t have to take care of any more kids. until now.
