Blix walked away, and quickly made her way to Sionis Industries, for her meeting with the man himself. As a supplier who provides for any and every villain, she knew where this meeting was most likely going to head to. She walked in looking out of sorts compared to all the burly guys wearing suits and black masks, in her jeans, sweatshirt and high heels combo. She nodded her head in greeting to the men she knew, as she made her way to the elevator.

Upon arriving at the top floor, his assistant immediately, got up to inform Roman she had arrived. Blix could vaguely hear him yelling at someone inside, which grew louder as she opened the door. There was an angry “WHAT!?” before the assistant spoke, followed by some muttering. The assistant walked back out and said, “He’s ready to see you.”

Blix walked in and lightly commented, “Roman, you really need to do something about that anger of yours. Ever tried meditation? Or medication?”

“Hardy har har. Such sass. Ive killed people for less,” Roman growled out. “Need your assistance, these Dvali asshats refuse to back off my damn territory, and if I have to deal with one more skirmish with those assholes, I am going to level this area. I need to show them who is boss. Show them the hierarchy. Got anything that can help me out, lil lady?”

Blix smiled darkly, “Of course… what did you have in mind?”

Vince waited until the woman was out of sight before scooping the kitten back up in one hand and putting it on his shoulder as he walked back around the corner into one of the street’s alleys. Pulling up a manhole cover he descended into the dark, closing the entry behind him. The kitten meowed and he let go of the ladder with one hand to pat it on the head, reassuring it in Czech.

It was only a short walk from there to the Dvali casino. Walking past the two guards outside the back entrance, Vince nodded.

“Vlasta was looking for you,” one of them said, taking another drag on his cigar.

“Vlasta can wait.”

Vince made his way to Otar‘s office, tucking the kitten into a jacket pocket. Otar was on the phone when he arrived so he stood patiently, hoping that it wasn’t Nicholadze on the other line. Those calls always left Otar in a foul mood.

“This better be good news, Black,” Otar snapped as he ended the call, not even bothering with a greeting.

“Unfortunately it’s not. That woman was back here again, headed towards the Industrial District.”

“The one our contact says works with Sionis?”

Vince shrugged a shoulder. “Hard to say. We have nothing to ID her by.”

Otar waved him off, looking irate. “Follow her then. Find out what you can.”

Vince spent the better part of two days tracking down leads and information on the woman with little luck. Sionis Industries seemed the place to start but getting near the building was going to be all but impossible for a known member of the Dvali. For now, he would wait. Bide his time until the pieces fell into place.

leisure related headcanons

• Vince loves going to the beach, when it’s not crowded, at night or early in the morning. The smell of the saltwater, the feel of the sand, and the sound of the ocean are all very calming and grounding for him.

• He’s a skilled chess player, though not a grandmaster by any means. He enjoys matches against Miller as they’re often more challenging than those he plays against other members of the Dvali and encourage him to be more competitive than when he plays against a computer. It’s a calm and systematic game.

• He prefers take-out to dining in a restaurant.
