What do you think about HSR in general? The good, the bad, the ugly?

HSR is the reason I bought slots. I love how many branching paths it has—you can combine them and experience different outcomes with each replay. It keeps the game fresh and engaging, so I never feel bored. So far, I prefer season 1 over season 2, but who knows? The season finale might change my mind. I just really enjoy the cosy yet creepy vibe of season 1.

The characters also feel more like real people compared to Heaven's Secret. And no, it’s not just because most of them are mortals. They’re more well-rounded and have clear goals. Plus, they’re not instantly infatuated with Lane, which makes them more believable. They have lives and stories outside of the main character, which I appreciate. I can’t stand when a love interest becomes irrelevant just because you don’t romance them.

That said, I do have some criticisms. The story clearly favours the male love interests over Anna. Season 2 is nearly over, and Lane is still unsure about her feelings for Anna. Worse, the way her confusion is described feels completely out of character. And don’t even get me started on that strange sensual dream. It’s baffling how every male love interest shows up in it, regardless of whom you romance, yet there’s no option to include Anna—or to exclude the guys entirely.

I don’t like to speculate, but I can’t fault anyone who calls Sasha homophobic. We don’t know if she is, but given how things are handled, I understand why some might think so.

Also, sorry it took me so long to answer this. I was waiting for Anna's route development before I could give my thoughts.

Any LI you like in HSR?

Anna. My LIs are almost all women. I'm just disappointed she doesn't get much screen time. Even though it's almost the end of season 2, Lane still doesn't know how she feels about Anna. It's unfair.

Not to mention that we've yet to meet the second female LI. I wonder whether that will ever happen.
