What’s up, I guess.

Hey all, Static here. Punchy somehow convinced me to do this so I guess I should make a bit of an intro for myself, krzzt. I don’t doubt the others are somehow logged in too, attempting to make one of their own while I am so I’ll try to keep it short. Name’s Static, I’m friends with Apollo and... to a lesser extent I guess I’m also friends with Punchy, somehow. I like the guitar. I’ve been playing for a few years and I’m trying to get better as I go. 

I don’t trust these “social media” things very much at this point in time so I’m not going to give a whole lot about me right off the bat. Ya never know who’s going to use this info for bad, krzzt. I’m also not very tech savvy, so forgive me for any mistakes I make along the way. I heard people freak out if you misspell or mistype a single word on here and I don’t feel like dealing with that kind of flakk right now. 

I'm gathering that it’s safe to assume you’ll learn more about me through the other's posts, which is the other reason why I’m not going to bother telling my life story on this post. It’s both a waste of your time and my time reading through a ten thousand page essay of my adolescent years. I’m also not entirely convinced any of us really know how these “tumblers” work, so don’t expect masterpieces from us, krzzt.

Something that I feel I should say, though, is a piece of advice for those with a long tail, fur, hair, whatever. Brush your goddamn fur. Brush it frequently. Brush it thoroughly. I assure you, a hundred strokes isn’t enough; bump it to a thousand if you have the time, krzzt. Make sure it is conditioned and shampooed as thoroughly as possible, as much as you may hate doing it. I’m no stylist, but in my experience it pays off. The last thing any of us needs is a tangled mess in their tail or just... throughout their entire coat.

But that’s enough of that. I was told I have to make these “tags” to make sure that “the blog reaches enough people”. I’ll oblige, but I’m not going to have fun doing it, based on Punchy’s experience with it, krzzt.

Moving In!

{Hello! this is what I guess you could call the “main mun” signing in to give the rundown of what’s gonna happen on this here account. I’m not too sure how to signify a mun post yet so consider the squiggly brackets a placeholder, for now.

I’ve roped in about 7 or 8 of my friends who were all big fans of animal crossing and asked them if they wanted to do a little “fanblog” of sorts with me and they said yes, so here we are!

First off, we’re not saying what person each character belongs to as the handles of those who are part of this account won’t be disclosed. We all agreed that we want this to be a fun little project that we can be stupid on all together, collectively. :)

Just know that there will be a “main cast” so to speak, which will act as the “muns’” little signatures when they end a mun post, and the characters that will be in the posts themselves. The cast is as follows:

Special characters, other villagers from our own IRL islands/towns, etc. the mayor/island representative could come in at any time but just know 9 times out of 10 at least one or more of these nine will be in the shitposts to come. :)

Most of the posts will be based on experiences/inferences we make about the villagers in our towns and how we think they interact with each other. They could also just be any old thing that pops into our heads that we think are funny. :P There’s most likely gonna be some other formats/types of posts (like asks! They may not be illustrated, though.) in the future, but we’ll see how that unfolds.

There could be some long storylines at some point once we feel more confident but we’re unsure whether that could be on another account or not, if you wanna see that though let us know!

A little disclaimer I forgot to put initially, there will be swears!!! Some characters will be clean, others won’t. 

With all that being said, I’m not quite sure how/where the little description box for the account is but once I find that there’ll be some ground-rules for what’s allowed on here and what’s not. A big no-no I’m gonna say right here right now is trying to expose people’s handles based on their typing style. If you think you know who someone is or if you know for sure who someone is, don’t say it!!! Keep it to yourself; like a lil trophy since ya figured out who someone was! Thanks in advance, mrmpht!
