Haloo, teh. That's why. If you feel like the world's too hard on you, you don't fight back. You try to listen. You try to love it back." pada bagian halaman persembahan manuskripnya. Tentu dengan mencantumkan credits. Thank you, teh. I hope you have a pleasant day!
AAAHAHAHAHA just make sure its something you wont regret when you get older. semangat dan sukses selalu

gaada sih harus rajin belajar caranya bajak. popular titles biasanya ada di apple tv for 25rb sekali tonton. aku biasa pake torrent, tapi kalo udah obscure banget/cult classics mau gak mau 480p no subtitle di ok.ru atau archive.org. tapi ini old hollywood ya... di luar itu aku kurang paham. kalo ada judulnya mangga kali aja aku bisa bantu dapetin

hi teh c, i wonder if this is one of the examples of ‘unsolicited criticism’ that you once talked about? because i thought the wording came off as a little too mean, but then i saw numerous people agreeing with OP, so now i’m confused- do you think that this actually a good advice with bad delivery or is OP just being a jerk? 😅
(context: the quoted user was ‘live commenting’ about a fanfic they were reading)
https://x.com/goatingaie/status/1794424871465763294?s=46
tweet is deleted so i didnt see it but from the way you worded it it probably is. good advice with good delivery is still bad advice if the writer didnt ask for it

teh c, hii! i was just checking out your profile and after reading your latest qna aku jadi penasaran deh sama framework sosmed stories yg kamu mention. apakah teh c mau bikin course lagi atau apaaa :o (because the framework sounds so interesting..)
i did share the framework in the course complete with a full blown bootcamp. sayangnya lagi belum lanjut dan aku justru mempertimbangkan writing it as a book instead supaya lebih gampang didapetin orang2. atau mungkin entar aku pertimbangkan lagi lol

Hello, C!
thanks for reaching out! sayangnya aku sama sekali blm ada keinginan buat nerbitin fiksi jenis apapun di luar yg sifatnya derivatif (fenfik, red.), terlebih untuk target demografi young adult. i’ve outgrown those, so i’m going to have to turn this offer down.
yg lagi aku garap sekarang justru adalah a framework on writing social media stories - a self-help guide, that is, to help others write and craft stories better. menurut aku aneh aja 9273728163 social media AU di internet tapi gak ada satu pun manusia yg tertarik ngebahas aspek teknis di balik prosesnya. if this sounds like something you’d be interested in working on with me, please send a note to [email protected].
(also please don’t use the email to reinstate your pitch above. i won’t budge)

teteh maaf aku dateng lagi but yes, teh, i have read your all is fair (in love and war), many times as much as i can remember since i was so missing your work. but this time it hits different, knowing the way i feel towards ice's longing gaze during their first encounter, or times after that. at the scene of their first class together at topgun i told my self, they just met, didn't they? or....? yo what did i miss? why do they act like they lost themselves multiple times in previous lifes and now that they met again for the only-god-knows, the nth time, it struck him that maybe it was not meant to be. as long as ice still can be around him anytime, that's enough. loving him from the vicinity was enough (but sometimes being around is proven to be not enough). but then you wrote, "sampaikan salamku ke bayi itik. bilang aku kangen padanya. dan, padamu juga. setiap detikku. ice." ༼;´༎ຶ ༎ຶ༽ you got me, again and again; FINALLY, so i thought. now you have him ice but where are you, like physically. why. just why 😭🫵🏻 rasanya kayak lagi berguling dari puncak himalaya, knowing the fact that mav initiated what they have in your fic, kind of, in simplest term (di bayanganku, kalau dia gak jinjit ke muka ice, mereka ga bakal kemana-mana though mav is going to be mav). and their message for me, for now, is that to love is not to let go but sometimes you need to let go. (berasa dikutuk sekaligus being blessed by the phrase "time to let go" dari dua filmnya.) anddddd your fic feeds me well (though maybe i gained the wrong take about all of these) 😭🙏 i know this doesn't make sense, the way all the lines get blurred and mixed up in my head and my essay to you. but i hope this doesn't disturb you. please let me know if i went overboard/made you uncomfortable 🙏
btw, (menanggapi author's note kamu di fic itu) i like your voice in them too, teh. sosososo much. but your writing has always been THAT good in weishin too. so i have been a natural, avid admirer of the way you are so versatile and precise in voicing your narration. and now i am beyond glad that i can finally say, from the bottomest part of my heart: thank you so much for writing icemav 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 and allow me to tell you also, that your writing never fails (tolong jangan bosen diberitahu fakta seterang ini) 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 the way you weaponize(?) (karena emang rasanya ku lagi DISERANG, in a good way) both mav's height and character in this fic is truly, top notch (and because they come from you). and please forgive me if i count whatever that is happening there as canon because your telling is too real. i feel their voices and gestures, habit and remarks. the way it fits the gap between the 1986 and 2022 movie as well. miaw. yummy. i think i need to cry about this, again. once i refill my tears successfully.
maaf udah ngelantur & ganggu waktunya, teh 🙏 thank you for replying to me, ilysm. and thank you for being #1 of my fav fanfic writer of all time, thank you for writing, thank you for being you 🫶🏻
you need to come off anon so i can kiss you properly on the mouth. i do have more icemav stuffs over at @coolhandlukes if you'd like to check them out! you're way too cool to stay as anon and for us not to be friends honestly. come say hi anywhere you can find me
#love making friends with cool people who see a ship exactly the way i see it#welcome onboard im gonna convert you to tom cruise twt so so bad

One of my favorite phrases my Creative Writing professor had for when you’re writing fantasy is ‘giving your story a Flux Capacitor’.
Because it’s not real, it doesn’t exist. But the way it’s thrown into Back to the Future, at no point does it throw the audience off or suspend any more disbelief than time travel would. You believe Doc when he says he created the Flux Capacitor - the thing that makes time travel possible, because the universe never questions him.
So it essentially means like, there are going to be elements to your universe that are just not gonna make any sense, even if you set up a whole system based on it. And the only way to make it work is completely own it. You cannot second-guess your system or else the reader will too. You can give it the strangest explanation, but write it like you own it.

Teh C, i just read your essay on the topic of RPF on substack. Can i just say that i’m a writer as well and it has everything i wish i’m brave enough to say out loud everytime this topic resurface on twitter hahahahahahaha. Anyways, i am also here to ask, may i please put it into my recommendations reads list for others who are interested to read too? I hope you’re well! 🤎
yeah go ahead! if you feel like sharing on twitter feel free to @ me so i can retweet it too.

Teteh I'm not sure I understand how substack works, but I subscribed to your page. I've read one of your posts, and it made me curios. I see that some pages on substack require a paid subscription. Are the emails sent to our mailbox different from the content on those paid pages by the same writer?
I'm afraid I'm very bad at explaining things but hope you get what I mean. Happy friday teh 🤞
they're the same thing. everything delivered to your email should also live on their substack page. i don't monetize mine because i don't think they're worth your money, but some others make money off theirs.

Teteh ada langganan bacaan non fiksi yg dibaca gak? Jurnal atau majalah?
i do! i spend a lot of my time on substack - sometimes my favorite newsletters gives me recs to external sources like nytimes, the paris review, etc. i have several paid substack subscriptions.
i read nonfiction books more than novels nowadays. wrote about it here. probably needs to do a 2023 recap, but i didn’t really read that much compared to 2022. let me know.
