Turtle concept I’m fond of. I love drawing him. So squishy.

Notes:

- turtle inspired bill and markings.

- round and plump

- large heavy talons and thick dragging tail

- hint of gold in irises

- small ears, horns, and wings

- square photophores

- slightly vacant expression

- looks like Michael Cera probably voices him

this disability pride month I’d like to spread the gospel of the shower chair. I’m not disabled but my father is, and when I first started visiting him from out of town I’d move his chair in and out of the tub as I showered until one day I said fuck it and kept it in.

And oh my god.

If you’re a person who needs a 1000°F shower, get a chair. Get a chair and let yourself sit in the sauna. It’s amazing.

Long live the shower chair.

weird question but how do you draw your scales (the tiny shapes, not the larger plate-like ones)? do you start with a circle or just lines, or something else entirely?

i am a fellow draws-each-scale artist and i require assistance

rendered headshots usually take about 8 hours on average across a few days, and cell shaded headshots take about 1-2 hours
