Eslam is a teacher and a young mother of 2; Hanaa (age 5) and Ana (age 1). Since last year, she and her family have been fighting to survive the siege on Ghazzah.

She and her family lost their home to the bombings, displacing them all to a tent. The unhygienic conditions have caused both of Eslam's children to develop skin diseases.

Medicine and soup are extremely expensive in Ghazzah, $30 a bar; since Eslam's husband Rasmi had his place of work bombed, these prices are are completely unsustainable.

In order to help support their daily life and be able to evacuate, they need to raise $50,000 USD. So far, they've only raised $14,262 USD; their last donation was 4 hours ago.

Meet Barrett!

I’m a bit late to party about this guy since my friend, @regularassgrass has already been making drawings and stuff of him on their page. But life has been hectic with me getting a job and all other crazy stuff I’ve been trying to work on, including the blog rebrand. But he’s here now and hopefully I’ll be able to draw more of my anxious dire wolfbeastman and his adventures at RSA along with the world around him.

Decided to draw a friend's and some of my own characters from the RSA together. They're a happy little family together.

I need. Twisted Beastmen and the like. To be more animalistic. Not necessarily like, physically, I don't meant that in the furry sense. I mean that in the 'they're part animal and it'd not just for show' sense.

I want beastmen with claw like nails. Where the cat-like ones tend to walk on their toes when not wearing shoes because it feels right. Where their eyes and pupils reflect the animals that they're partly of. With fangs and teeth appropriate for their species.

Ruggie making laughing noises at the active prospect of food. Whooping when in a fight and needing backup. Lowing when excited for a fight.

Leona roaring to get the whole dorm's attention. Chuffing in greeting at people he considers part of his pride. (He'll sometimes grunt at Cheka like a mother would to her cubs but will deny it.)

Jack barking at danger to warn others and howling to try and figure out where his pack is (he forgets they can't howl back, but Ruggie will sometimes low at him and Yuu definitely tries to howl back.)

I want to see Azul with the tips of his limbs in human form retain some of his octopus natural ability to camouflage. I want to see his hands always moving, grabbing something, holding something. Azul who might not have bones in human form with how flexible he is??

The tweels who aren't very active naturally during the day but get really hyperactive at night. Who bare their teeth at people when excited.

Che'nya who lounges in the sun on lazy days. Who's great at stretching and popping everywhere in his body if he needs to, to a concerning degree.

GIMME FEY WHO DONT ACT HUMAN

Malleus who snorts smoke when he's angry. Malleus who wear gloves because he got claws. Malleus who has a tail and wings outside of his dragon form sometimes.

Lilia who gets just a bit too excited at the prospect of a fight and spilling blood. Who can recognize a person by the smell of their blood. Who makes inhuman noises when too excited and gives off a very eldritch horror kind of vibe if he lets loose.

Sebek who can be found eating rocks sometimes. Who finds quiet in thunder and lightning. Who can move so smoothly and silently you don't know he's there until he opens his maw. Who has a lot of really sharp teeth for someone with a human mouth.

Just- gimme some animal, like, REALISM. PLEASE.

You asked for drabbles request, and I've got something. Whichever of the wardens you prefer being surprised with a pastry the mc baked, just because they like baking. The catch being that MC accidentally mixed up the salt and sugar. Maybe the containers weren't labeled, or maybe mc just got really distracted. Multiple glasses of water and apologizes later mc makes an actual good pastry

DRABBLE TIME. DRABBLE TIME.

Heimos

You can tell that something is wrong the moment his face twitches. He chews quietly on the food he'd been offered, and then his jaw stops. His face remains impassive for a few heartbeats. Slowly, it begins to twist into a look of discomfort.

He hasn't swallowed.

"Heimos, you can spit it out."

He narrows his brows in conflict, jaw moving again. In the end, he can't bring himself to swallow it, and the mash is discarded into the fire.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It's bad to waste food," He says between sips of tea.

"It's okay that you didn't like it, Heimos." Your hand on his upper arm gives him some comfort, "What part of it did you not like?"

"I just didn't expect it to be so salty."

"...salty?"

You stand and hurry back into the kitchen.

"What's wrong?" His voice follows you. Shortly after, he crouches his way into the tight kitchen himself.

"Heimos..." You sigh, "I thought this was the sugar jar. It's been the sugar jar for five months. When did you fill it with salt?"

"Oh...was it? I...didn't realize you'd organized the shelves. I'm sorry."

"I swear."

"I'm sorry."

"Stop apologizing. Oh Gods, that must have been disgusting. Drink more tea. I'm going to make it right this time. What jar did you turn into the sugar jar?"

"...I don't remember."

"...Heimos, you're banned from the kitchen."

"...fair."

Violo & VIvere

"Who would've thought our little adventurer would know how to bake?" To anyone else, Vivere might've sounded condescending. It was easy now to recognize the potential barb as little more than light teasing.

"When did you have the money to afford stuff like this? Weren't you mostly broke all of time since your allies kept stealing your money?"

"I had to learn some basic things to survive. If you don't want to fucking eat the damn things, don't eat them." You scowl and cross your arms, "I just got bored."

"I didn't say I wouldn't try one."

"Ooooh, me first. Me first!" Violo snatches one of the cookies up and pops it into his mouth.

He pauses, mouth open for longer than one might expect. Vivere reaches for one as well, but Violo's hand snaps to his wrist. Violo quickly chews and swallows the cookie.

"There's too much salt in that for you, my sunshine. You're already dehydrated. Eating one of these could mess with your salt levels." Violo chirps.

"Salty?" You frown, "I didn't use a lot of salt."

You eat one of the crumbly, messy things and immediately have a pocket of salt explode onto your tongue. The pair immediately begin to fuss over your violent coughing spell, hands gentle yet firm while giving you water and patting your back.

"I swore that was sugar..." You grumbled, hiding your face behind your hands.

"Ah...wait...did you make these recently? Sifted sugar was with me in the garden. I was having tea with Father doesn't like sugar cubes." Vivere chuckles, "Why didn't you call out for it? It would've come once the castle told it that it was needed."

"I thought the stuff in the little blue pot with the golden lid was sugar."

"No, no." Violo shakes his head, "That's Sadzian salt. I like to have it on my ham and turkey, so I have it imported by our flowers. We keep it in that pot because it's a Sadzian pot that helps it stay tasty. Putting Sadzian salt in a normal container gives it a sour taste after a few days."

"Forgive me for not recognizing your rich fucking salt." You can practically feel your face on fire. If they were to touch you, they might think you have a fever. You stand up abruptly, "Where is...sifted sugar then? So I can try again."

"I'll tell it to head to the kitchen."

"Do you want help? I can help!"

"No."

That being said, they did follow you into the kitchen for round 2.

Necare

Necare was on her second baklava before she asked, "What recipe did you use for this?"

"Hm? Oh, something I got from a merchant a few years ago? Why, you like it?"

"Not particularly. It's too salty for my tastes, but I wonder if we could use the ingredients to better preserve meat."

"Huh? Salty? It shouldn't be salty at all. It should be sweet and nutty!"

"This is not sweet."

You reach to take one, but she pulls the small basket away.

"You might hurt yourself eating one of these. The salt content is high. If you're not used to battle rations, you'll probably start wheezing."

"Then why are you eating them!?!?"

"Because you don't waste food in Azura."

"NECARE."

Amare

Amare has been giggling for some time. They watch you as you cook, eyes gently trailing each movement.

"If your legs get tired, don't be afraid to sit down."

"I'm fine, Amare."

Your upper body feels a bit exhausted with all of the efforts that baking entails on top of keeping your balance, but the stools Amare had built for you made it easier to cook even when your legs felt like they would buckle.

Eventually, you proudly present them with a slice of cake.

"I only got to try this once during a festival because one of the guards took pity on me. I hope I made it right." You think long and hard about how it was supposed to taste.

"I'm certain it will." Amare smiles and takes a bite, "It's delicious."

"Phew."

You'd used a sugar you were unfamiliar with, but you were glad that it worked out. You idly swipe some of the loose sugar off of your wrist to better taste it for the future.

You wince when a powerful salty taste hit your tongue.

"Amare, stop eating that."

"Hm?" Amare asks mid-chew. How were they not coughing up a storm?

"I accidentally used salt. You don't need to eat that."

"No, you didn't." Amare tilts their head in confusion, "It tastes perfect. Try it."

You frown and lean forward to accept the bite they offered. Sure enough, it tasted exactly like you remembered from all those years ago - hearty and chocolatey. The sugar on top accented the taste of the cake perfectly.

What?

You turn back to find the jar of salt you swore you used. You blinked and saw that it was indeed the green sugar pot by the fire and not the red pot that apparently contained sugar.

If it was unopened, how did it end up your wrist?

"Don't worry, love. You never make mistakes." Amare soothes you with a smile, "You're every action is perfect - as always."

This is very urgent so please share however you can. Islam, the mom of this family in Gaza, is eight months pregnant but has a fractured pelvis and therefore cannot give birth safely. She needs a C-section, but the conditions to perform those no longer exist in Gaza. For months women in Gaza have been getting C-sections without anaesthesia. We need to get her out before she goes into labor, which could happen at any time now. We're halfway through the goal and even if everyone just chipped in 5-10 dollars it adds up quick!
