Likely Reasons AC is Running But Not Cooling
As it is the hottest season of the year, you will need some cold temperature passing through your skin. However, you are not getting that because of one important reason; the central air conditioner is not cooling. You will start wondering why your AC is running yet not cooling. Experts at Dream Team Heating and Air, Denham Springs, have the answers you need. There are some reasons your air conditioning unit is not cooling, and some of them are discussed below. Information can be found here.
Refrigerant Issues
The refrigerant chemical needs to be in the right amount and in place for the cooling process to work correctly. Most times, this is not the case because it will fail you one time and can cause your unit not to cool. When the refrigerant leaks through the indoor or outdoor coil, you can have a problem with it. See here for information about Importance of Air Duct Cleaning
 Wrong Thermostat Setting
If you have not checked your thermostat setting, you may want to do that right away before asking why your unit is not cooling. You will notice that your air conditioner will blow lukewarm and cold air when your thermostat is set to on while turning on and off. However, it will run day and night even when the temperature is not too hot when it is on. You first need to set the setting of the thermostat to auto. You may need to check is the thermostat if set to cool if that doesn’t work.
