We were displaced from our home 🏠at the beginning of the October 7 war. We were displaced to schools🏫 and relatives’ homes. We left our home under the bombing, fire belts, missiles and terrifying shells in the Zeitoun area. We did not take anything with us. We left our food, belongings and clothes and left our beautiful home. We have not returned to it until now. I appeal to everyone and ask you to help me. There is nothing. We lost everything we own, our home and my husband’s only job. My husband and I suffer daily from the problem of providing food and what we will feed our children today due to its high prices. All our food depends on canned food. My children always cry😭, wanting fruits, vegetables and eggs,🍅🍏 and my young son tells me, “Mama, I want to drink milk.🥛” I do not know how to respond to them. My young children have suffered greatly from the spread of pimples that left a disfiguring effect on their bodies, like burns. Also, The shortage of gas led us to use firewood🔥, nylon and brambles for baking and cooking.

With the arrival of winter, I do not know what to do. Even the clothes in the market are very expensive. I went to buy used clothes to warm my young children.

Sofonisba and Hiroshige Hamato, twin turtle-mutant-bakeneko-chimeras (affectionately nicknamed “torties” for short), the daughter and son of Leo and Tomiko. Born from a “genesis pod” as a gift and joint collaboration from Uncle Donnie and Draxum to the proud parents, these two are a result of science and alchemy. They both take after their parents with their own little twists. Sof is loud, talkative, and feral, Hiro is calm, analytical, and perceptive. They’re a weird mix of human, reptile, mammal, mutant, yokai, etc, and they’re both very very loved.

I've been thinking.

money is just giving value to time. you buy like a pencil, which costs money, but you could have like made it yourself. However, it takes time (and skill which takes more time to achieve) to do so.

You want a keychain from etsy? You could have made it yourself, and even make the materials too. But you pay someone so they use their time to make it instead.

Now, with money, we can specialise in stuff so its nicer, but we're dependent on each other. Even if you hate human interaction, you need those humans to survive.

Time is literally money.
