Oneiromants
Oneiromancy (from the Greek όνειροϛ oneiros, dream, and μαντεία manteia, prophecy) is a form of divination based upon dreams; it is a system of dream interpretation that uses dreams to predict the future. Dreams and REM state are one of the ways through which the thaumaturgical abilities usually manifestate, specially Clairvoyance, Prophecy and Channeling. Oneiromants usually experience prophetic dreaming, lucid dreaming, and even share dreams with other people (and usually night terrors and sleep paralysis, too).
Some Oneiromants, oddly, unconsciously manifestate thaumaturgical abilities during the REM state that are unable to control or manifestate in wakefulness state. Some of them can alter the weather or cause psycokinetic manifestations unconsciously while dreaming. Another proof of the major power of the subconscious mind over body and matter.

Sustaining Lucidity
There are two techniques that I employ for sustaining awareness within a lucid dream when it begins to slip back into normal dream mode. The first is spinning. At the moment you feel lucidity fading, spin your dream body as forcefully and quickly as you can while holding your arms straight out to the sides. The ‘sense’ of momentum that the spinning creates will immediately restore the clarity of the dreamscape. The second technique merely involves looking at your own hands. As before, when lucidity starts to fade, simply hold both of your hands up in front of you and focus on them intently. Do your best to notice their subtle details, to include lines, color, size, etc. If you are able to bring them clearly into focus, lucidity will re-stabilize.
