people really just walk into horror movies and expect them not to deal with uncomfortable things despite the genre being dedicated to discomfort.

i saw so many people complain that lisa frankenstein, a movie where one of the leads is famously a rotting corpse, was too gross for them. when i walked out of nosferatu, i heard people say that the nudity was uncalled for... in a vampire film. nudity? in MY gothic horror?! unheard of!

a LOT of people really need to accept that maybe some genres just aren't to their taste, idk. not every movie needs to be cookie-cutter clean. sexuality is a staple of gothic horror, if not the wider genre horror in General. you don't need to enjoy it, but it doesn't make these things uncalled for.

rodimus, pulling out a conspiracy board: wrong! First there will be ultra magnus who notices the light bulb, but will write it up on a report instead of actually replacing it. After that Brainstorm’s sent down there to actually replace the lightbulb. Perceptor, however, is distrustful of Brainstorm’s giddy enthusiasm to change the lightbulb, and inspects Brainstorm’s lightbulb first. Perceptor asks swerve to bring him his tools. Ratchet and Drift agree that we should put in a normal light bulb (anything OTHER than brainstorm’s), and Whirl, thinking we’re all taking too long, tries to put it in himself. He breaks the bulb with his little claw hands. Brainstorm then calls ME over to overrule Perceptor’s cautions, and of course I do because I’m curious what his light bulb would do. Brainstorm isn’t tall enough so he calls over Chromedome, with Rewind (who is recording everything) on his shoulders. He screws in the lightbulb and then there was a sudden power surge and now every single light bulb in the ship went down except the light bulb we replaced.

megatron: wait, is that -

rodimus: SO we decide to pit stop on the nearest planet to get more bulbs, and bring along cyclonus and tailgate to work on dual ends of the persuasion spectrum - intimidation and charm. We need the best deal since we’ll be changing more than two thousand. Whirl, however, had other plans. He ‘accidentally’ got into a fight with a worker there and then stole about ten thousand light bulbs and put it aboard the ship. Authorities caught Whirl, but don’t know where the light bulbs went. And then we authorized every single person on the ship to screw in their own stolen lightbulb before they find us. And Whirl’s stuck in jail.

megatron: why are you telling me this?

rodimus: because that actually happened and I was trying to find a way to break it to you.

Nar now all I can think of is Ingo revealing himself to the person he lost as a guardian angel, revealing himself in their final moments to comfort him. ;-; Of course he would blame himself.

a life cut short

it depends on the charge with who gets told why they have a guardian angel. If someone truly wants to know the angel will tell them it’s because their life is to be cut short and they are there to prolong their life as much as possible…

the charge wanted to reassure Ingo that he did his best and they don’t have any regrets since they’ve lived their life the way they wanted to since they were told. they are grateful for the extra time ingo gave them

In my experience, when evil tries to frighten you into submission, the best thing to do is still be yourself - still like what you like, still be kind, still have hope. An ex-colleague of mine was complaining to me the other day about the ai problem in her students' papers, and I told her, "Just make your students hand-write them in class. Easy." She looked at me like I was insane and tried to explain how that would never work, but I just said,"That's how we did it for a thousand years. The invention of word processors doesn't erase all that."

To me it seems obvious. Readings are done out of class, handwritten essays are done within it. No more ai papers.
