Went to check out some more of the local tourist stores and Arizona really has a thing for aliens and mystic spirits stuff

We found a nearby village market that’s also has small art museums (unfortunately they we’re still close so we’ll go back later) but the areas were perfect to take pictures with Rai

Having diner at a steak house restaurant with a amazing view (and some fucking amazing mash potatoes) along with Rai enjoying the view while we wait for our food

Went exploring the shops near by and found this cool gemstone/fossil store. Rai was happy to be surrounded by familiar prehistoric items (the store owners were cool with me taking pics of Rai with the stones and fossils)

Bye bye Albuquerque, and onwards to Sedona

Slowly but surely leaving New Mexico and entering Arizona

We have now reached Arizona and have made it to Sedona. As Rai watching the mountain cliffs while also keeping me calm because MY GOD these steep mountains roads are intimidating!

Currently on a road trip to California to visit some relatives and yes i brought Plushie Rai with me. Been a very long time since I was last there, but we made it to our hotel for the day so here are the pics of Rai so far

Roadtrip with Rai Part 1

Rai watching the road side along with staring at a cliff face (think that’s what it’s called)

Jurassic World Rebirth Spinosaurus cardboard at Taco Shack gas station, still wasn’t a good movie but dinosaurs looked good (mutants were very underwhelming ngl)

Made it to New Mexico with cool Mountain View as Rai admires them from a far

We’ve settled into our hotel for the night and went to explore with Rai (gonna do a lot of exploring and wandering) not much to see but the hotel looks really good

About a month ago, I started carrying a emotional support plush with me when I leave home, this was recommend by my counselor since I deal with bad anxiety (this includes panic attacks) and although I’ve gotten better with managing it, lately my anxiety have started to change differently as I got older so now I have to try new tactics to handle it better, the emotional support plush being one of them. As you probably already know if you’ve seen my posts on Bluesky and Reddit, my ES (emotional support) plushie is a Pokemon plushie and if seen most of my artwork here, you’d probably guess what Pokemon it is. Yeah it’s Koraidon (the Pokémon Doll limited version), I mean his my current comfort character so of course it’s Koraidon and yes, I named him Rai XP

So far plushie Rai has been doing his job wonderfully to keeping me calm and collected especially at work cause it can get very chaotic at my job and I get overwhelmed and stressed sometimes. I’ve messed with the idea of drawing Rai as a Emotional Support Pokemon based on the plushie but never had the time until now, so here are the three drawings of Rai being an official emotional support Pokemon for his trainer cause she too suffers from bad anxiety (the anxiety projections gotta go somewhere)

"Auntie Barina"

"Gojira spends most of his time in the Scarlet Forest, babysitting a larvae of sorts. Times when he has to leave, he leaves it in the care of a Lala Barina. While unusual considering its a temnoceran that inflicts paralysis, it actually looks after the larvae"

Managed to get this done in eight hours I think, which is impressive to me. Something like this would take more thats why it surprises me. If you can tell its baby Mothra, which I might work on her larvae a bit better later on.

Idk how you Pokémon fan artists make quick work without looking sloppy and I don’t think I’ll do Pokémon fan art post presents again but darn it all I just wanted to reach the punchline first (unfortunately while I was typing this someone already has, but it’s with Koraidon’s limited form and there’s isn’t one of the Apex form at least one I haven’t seen yet so I’ll take it)
