I am Falestine, Jad Al-Haq, I am 37 years old, married, and I have a eight-month-old child named Youssef. I gave birth to him during the war during very harsh conditions that no human being can bear. I moved from the hospital immediately after giving birth to the tent in which we were staying after we were displaced to it after the Israeli bulldozers completely bulldozed my house. and my suffering did not start from here. Rather, it began since the beginning of the war, and I am still suffering. I cannot provide enough milk for my baby or diapers. Even medicines and vitamins are not available.

I ask you for your urgent help in disseminating the link to my family and communicating it to people interested and able to help us.  I didn't want to do it, but the tragic situation we are living in is what pushed me to do it.  I feel sad and helpless, after we had everything, we are now homeless on the streets, living in a tent next to a dilapidated public toilet and there is sewage, dirt and waste everywhere, we sleep on it!  We suffer from terrible heat, insects, scorpions, the danger of death, bombs and missiles, in addition to hunger of course, the danger of pollution and terrible diseases, especially the digestive, respiratory and reproductive systems!

.  My father and mother could not bear it any longer. My father had a stroke after losing his home and his place of work, and my mother suffers from chronic diseases and needs treatment.

  Do you have the right to imagine that when you spend your life building for yourself and your children to live a decent life, all of this disappears in the blink of an eye, and now when you reach the age where you should rest, you are forced to start again!!?  But the most important thing now is to try to survive and protect your children from all the factors of death that surround us!  I ask everyone who has humanity or conscience to feel our situation and put themselves in our place.  How can someone who has lived with dignity all his life accept this?  We are slowly dying every day.

Your donation, no matter how small, can have a big impact.  It can provide a meal for my little one, a clean bottle of water, or a moment of safety under these difficult circumstances.  Every donation brings with it a ray of hope, alleviating our suffering and giving us the strength to face a new day.

🍉 A Final Cry for Help from a Broken Heart 🍉

Hello my friend, I don't know how to begin this message, as my heart is shattered into pieces. I hope that this message reaches you in good health, far from the pain that fills my life right now.

I’m here, in a strange hospital room, surrounded only by the silence of death. I watch my little child lying on a bed, his innocent body motionless. Only the life-support machine keeps him alive. He can’t breathe on his own, can’t move, and all I feel is the deep sorrow that seeps into my soul with every passing moment.

The doctor spoke to me in a soft, almost hesitant voice, as if asking me to endure more than I can bear: “Either pay for the surgery now, or we’ll have to disconnect the machine.” Do you understand what that means? It means that I will watch my child—the one who was once the light of my life—die right before my eyes. Every moment that passes, I wait for a slow death, my hands tied, unable to save him. His tiny heart, once full of hope, will stop forever in an instant, and I can't do a thing.

Please, don’t leave me to face this nightmare alone. Please, save my child. I have nothing but this cry, these tears that fill my eyes. Any help, even a word, could be the difference between life and death for him.

My heart can no longer bear the pain. I feel as though my soul is leaving my body with every second, watching him suffer while I am powerless to stop it. Please, save my child before this little heart is extinguished forever.

On this day a year ago, my children were on their way to school and suddenly they heard the sounds of missiles and continuous explosions. They returned home scared and terrified. None of us knew what was happening. We felt like we had lost our lives, and that is what happened. We lost our home and everything we owned in a moment. It was the beginning of the nightmare. The house disappeared with all its details and their dreams. Even their toys turned to ashes. They destroyed their childhood!!

Since that day until now, we don't know how long we haven't had a day of rest. Death follows us all the time. We have escaped death many times, but I fear loss. All I want is your donation, even if it is small, to help save my children's lives. I don't want us to continue our lives in tents without rights.

Watched Foodfight for the first time the other day and wanted to draw some characters with my own flair / products in mind.

What stood out to me in Foodfight is how characters are mascots of products (literally the whole shtick of the movie) yet their products are inconsequential except for joke fodder sometimes. So here are some thoughts...

Dex Dogtective is the mascot of a cinnamon cereal, and chews on cinnamon sticks while holding them like cigars. He has a magnifying glass with a cinnamon stick for the handle and a price-tag gun (like in concept art).

Sunshine Goodness is a mascot of a raisin brand, and has a gardening theme to match. People tease her and Dex for being close since grapes are toxic to dogs.

Daredevil Dan is the mascot of a snack bar made of fruits, nuts, and chocolate chunks. His energetic nature matches his product being marketed as a great way to gain energy. It would be marketed with a high-energy radical 90s style packaging i think.

Vlad Chocool is the mascot of a chocolate cereal (a bootleg Count Chocula) and is visually inspired by fruit bats. He's a bit of a has-been but stays peppy.

Cheasel is the mascot of a spray cheese that's managed to dodge recalls despite its questionable quality. His knack for survival makes him scummy and bold, so the other ikes tend to avoid him. He's goopy and reconstitutes when injured.

I hoped they fired the character designer. But art like this made me think that failed movies can be rewritten and become a graphic novel to explain better why the fuck it was made.
