Hope's Peak Academy.... I've always wanted to go here. Thanks to a school lottery, I was chosen to join as the Ultimate Lucky Student.

It's an honour to join this school. All the students are pretty much guaranteed success in life once they graduate.

(I wonder if that'll be the case for me too... since I'm not like the other students...)

I did a little research on the other students at this school just to see who I'd be with in my class. It's weird to think that an average kid like me will be in the same class as students like the Ultimate Baseball Star or the Ultimate Biker Gang Leader. (Hopefully they'll all like me!)

Oh! Sorry, heh, forgot to introduce myself to you!

Hi! I'm Makoto Naegi. I'm really just your average highschool student. My favourite song is probably whatever is most popular right now. I like to think I'm pretty easy going! I like befriending people too!

But, back on track. Today's my first day of my new life. All I need to do is step inside the school and meet everyone.

[ Makoto makes his way into the school, and finds the entrance hall empty ]

Hm.. maybe I'm early! In that case, I'll just wai-

[ Makoto is cut off by a sudden dizziness that causes him to drop to his knees ]

Wh... What's going on...?

[ Makoto's vision starts going in and out and he slumps to the ground, unconcious ]

Welcome to Danganronpa: RE:Written! This is an au where the events of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc play out differently! You can ask the students anything or tell them to do something to progress the story!

This is a mostly text based au with sprites thrown in to show the characters emotions!
