And its hard you know, not talking to a human being you had an actual connection with. Its so…difficult to just pretend the things you had aren’t there anymore. Its hard to just detach that piece of a human sentiment from your heart, to peel it off. It hurts to peel it off, and its gradual. It dosen’t happen overnight. It’s like a hangnail, where if you pull to hard, you can end up in tears. And if you pull too gently, it hurts even more, if that is even possible. Heartbreak. It makes you want to time travel. It makes you become jealous, vulnerable and very very skeptical to let love in again. But please do. Because love is the only universal element that will make us become whole again. It’s the only thing that makes us human. And the thing is, love was not meant to be a walk in a park full of roses and birds chirping with all your favourite people supporting you. It was meant to be like walking on fire, like walking through the tundra, like getting stung by a bee. It’s hard, because love needs to know that you care enough about a person to appreciate the struggle and grow as a human. And if you can’t or don’t see the point then isn’t it just better to break apart gracefully?

 When are you going to grow enough to realize that love IS a salvation? 

Don’t just stop there. Love is too immeasurable for that.

When people are asked if they believe in “love at first sight”, most of them say no and that it’s too artificial. 

But what if those people are misinterpreting the entire concept and twisting it around? 

What if everyone’s been jumping to conclusions about those set of words? 

What if the entire time, “sight” is meant to be written with a capital ‘S’? 

For when you see that person’s soul for the first time. You’ve spent time with them, gotten to know them, let them in.

And it’s that one moment that you get a glimpse of something about them that just makes sense. They could be turning the page of a book. Laughing at a movie they’re watching. They could be making the bed or walking down a hallway. 

Maybe this whole time, it meant when you first caught Sight of their soul, then you knew you loved them.
