In addition to the three main stages, there is a gigantic tent in the Infield that houses two stages. These are recorded alternately every hour. For this picture a friend lifted me up into the air so that I could take pictures of the headbanging fans from above. Pentax Me, Ilford XP2.

The entrance to the infield is huge, so is the queue. Because of the many terrorist attacks, security control is much stricter than in previous years. You are not allowed to take cameras with interchangeable lenses. But I still managed to take my camera with me. Due to a short but very heavy rain shower, the whole area has turned into a swamp. But that didn't stop the visitors from attending the concerts anyway. Pentax Me, 50mm 1.7, Ilford XP2.

In the summer of 2017, a dream came true for me. I was allowed to go to Wacken, the Mecca of Metal. I took a small Pentax Me film camera and some rolls of film with me. But I forgot the pictures until a few months ago. The pictures are now posted as mini series, but now I always have a camera at concerts with me, so that over the years a big series will be created.

Endprodukt der Fotoreportage “People of Langstrasse”
Mit den Bildern, die während des zweimonatigen Projektes entstanden sind, musste ich am Schluss ein Leporello abgeben.
Die Formatwahl, das Layout, die Druck- und Papierwahl und die Wahl der Buchbinderin, habe ich komplett selber übernommen. Das Leporello ist so sehr hochwertig und auf schönem Naturpapier gedruckt.
Was ich allerdings nicht bedacht habe, ist die Länge des Leporellos wenn es komplett ausgelegt ist... Über 10 Meter lang.

Beginn meiner ersten Fotoreportage “People of Langstrasse”
Für das Schulfach Fotografie, muss ich eine mir zugeteilte Strasse in der Stadt Zürich während zwei Monaten dokumentieren. In dieser Zeit muss man Portraits, Architektur und Sonstiges fotografieren. Am Schluss muss man die Bilder als Leporello drucken und abgeben.
Mir wurde die Langstrasse zugeteilt, diese geniesst den Ruf eine Partystrasse zu sein, in der sich auch sehr spezielle und zum Teil zwielichtige Gestalten aufhalten. Dieses Projekt wurde auf Anraten einer Freundin komplett auf Film fotografiert. Ich habe bis anhin noch nie mit Film fotografiert, doch weil ich so begeistert von dem Ergebnis war, werde ich die ganze Serie so ausführen.
Dafür verwende ich den Kodak Ektar und den Ilford XP2 Film.
