Hey what comics do you read?

Working my way through all Mike Mignola's stuff, Hellboy, B.P.R.D., and the Outer Dark books.

Really like The Department Of Truth and the Nice House series by James Tynion IV. Something Is Killing The Children is okay too but ive only read the first arc.

Really liked Mind MGMT by Matt Kindt but none of his other stuff has hit for me.

Harrow County by Tyler Crook and Cullen Bunn is pretty good, love some weird Southern Gothic horror vibes.

I've read some other stuff, but those are the favourites of what I've read.

Survived another Holiday D&D program, running a five session campaign with six autistic kids. Having run a bunch of these and needing to mix things up, I decided to use some minis and mats from an Aliens board game i own.

So in the first session the party set out to defeat the evil necromancer Mazdek The Malignant- only for them and Mazdek to be beamed up by a ship full of xenomorphs. Over the course of the next few sessions it became clear that the party were deeply uninterested in preventing the xenomorph threat from spreading, and in fact allied with Mazdek and assisted him in procuring a Xeno egg. In the end they escaped the ship, leaving it still full of xenomorphs and with its automated systems continuing on to take it to new worlds, abducting random people to keep running in perpetuity. Mazdek was not only allowed to keep the egg, two party members joined him (well one of them had died and been resurrected under his thrall without the others noticing but still) and the party returned to their employers to be like "well technically we drove away the Necromancer and he's someone else's problem now"

All up, pretty standard stuff.

What's up tiktok today I'm doing the True Name Challenge, here's my driver's license and credit card, make sure to like and follow and in the next post I'll show you the numbers on the back,

so, my daytime grown up job is working in a shop. in the last week, ive have two customers loudly shout their pin numbers across the shop, a woman tell me she keeps all her banking information, passwords and pin numbers in her address book which she keeps in her handbag, and people leaving their phones and/or wallets behind after they leave.

im just saying, if Secret True Names were a thing, there wld be extensive public information campaigns to desperately try to stop people sharing them with complete strangers. and they would fail.
