Greek Myth Moodboard: Medea

Medea was a sorceress and enchantress, niece of the goddess Circe, from Colchis. When the hero Jason came to Colchis to retrieve the Golden Fleece to reclaim his throne, she fell in love with him and helped him, but only if he married her. They wed but he later betrayed her when a different king offered his daughter. Medea took her revenge by murdering the king, the princess, and her own children that she had with Jason.
