Beginning of the End: Elaine, Kiara, and Eggman

Vine’s new form stood ten feet tall. His tendrils from his back searching for Elaine. “You two believe I am still Vine? Vine is dead! I have replaced him! He was weak!” He said pushing Elaine mentally to a wall. “He was too compassionate!” He said, throwing Kiara like a rag doll down the street. “And most of all, he was so blinded!” He said, approaching Kiara, lifting her up. “A Shlogg like yourself should know of this pain!”

He delved within her mind, showing disturbing images even the demon would be shocked to see. With that he sent mental pain within her mind. Twisting it beyond repair, and breaking any form of sanity. This was no long Vine, but a new creation beyond darkness, terror, or imagination. He was now, Vile.

His teeth dug into Kiaras shoulder, while his tongues wrapped around her throat. Vile was beginning to totally envelop her, soul and body. “Soon you and I will be one, and I will only grow stronger!”

Eggman sat in the cockpit of the massive Egg Carrier. The source of the supposed Chaos Emerald drew closer, to the massive city of Gotham. He becomes giddy with pleasure as the flying battleship lowers altitude, falling through the clouds. 

There is anarchy. Buildings on fire, people screaming, monsters running about.  "WHAT?! What is going on?! Someone stirring trouble that isn't me? What is the meaning of this?!"  The source of energy was directly below the flagship. Eggman gets in his Eggmobile and flies down to the surface with a handful of Badniks for protection, but at this point Eggman knows this source of energy is much more powerful than a Chaos Emerald, and perhaps might be willing to negotiate.
