And I know, we're probably gonna get it in the next episode anyway since Vee has made her presence known, but I literally just wrote some drabble about it yesterday so it's kinda important I guess.

Know that if he actually GREW UP on Harvest instead of just fighting there, he had to have interacted with Mack a lot, and Mack's a good first impression to get of AI - he was old even by HUMAN standards, let alone by AI that age ten times as fast, but he was still reliable, nice, and had enough human-y quirks to him to leave a good impression.

Know Green never got to read that ONI report that Halsey collected from the comm buoys with his final heartbreaking serenade to Sif, since that's classified WAY above a marine captain's pay grade, but he was still well-liked by pretty much everyone from Harvest, except maybe some of the girls when his flirty side came through.

Captain Greene fought on Harvest but he wasn't from Harvest. His unwanted nickname of "The War Hound of Harvest" came from (according to him) greatly exaggerated reports from his time of service while stationed there during the First Battle of Harvest (February 3, 2525 – October 7, 2525) Pops wouldn't be intimately familiar with the nuances of AI, whether Smart or Dumb, but he would be experienced enough to have several run ins with them over his 30+ year career of military service to the UNSC and he would know how to work alongside them in larger military operations.
