also an aspect that I love to think about & explore is claire & the cassandra symbolism. her having all this knowledge about the future by nature of travelling back to the past & not being able to tell anyone/being convinced that nobody would believe it anyway. the way she knows the h.ighland culture is doomed, that a war is coming that'll end the life as it is for all her friends (& knowing that many will be killed in this war) but having to stay quiet :)))) her trying to change the outcome with just a few trusted people, but deep inside doubting that it'll be of any use, since the future is already written & still holding on to that little hope :)))))
