[1-2-2017] Innovation //Leaders & Followers •Entrepreneurship•

As we step into the first monday of the month, many of us are returning to our 9-5 jobs ready to adjust back into work mode. I can’t really stand the phrase “New Year, New Me”, however with the new year present, this is yet another year of opportunities for many of our creatives to pursue the life of contextual/creative prosperity. I’m sure that I speak on behalf of all artists when I say that working a 9-5 corporate job is nice to pay bills, but is ultimately mentally straining due to the lack of creative freedom. Just remember, innovation is the only element that separates leaders & followers; we’re all entrepreneurs, let’s continue to grow & flourish to turn our artistic dreams into reality.

•HOMME• Got the chance to catch up with my good friend Amir, curator of @homme_dc, this weekend & I have to say that I have nothing but respect for this cat. We began speaking about some of the local artists in the DMV area & discussing the creative influence that these individuals bring, along with the admiration & support of DMV artists as a whole. If you truly love art & love being a creative/creator, this is a guy that I can honestly say will support you wholeheartedly.
