Picrew is a Japanese website where you can upload drawings to make your own icon makers, and then everyone can use the makers for free to create their own mashup of the drawings in the maker. Click the Pink button when you’ve read my terms, and you are ready to go!

I always adored Picrew and all the makers on there, so it was a dream to make one for myself. So I did! This project has taken me over a year, and 300+ hours in my spare time, but I did all on my own, and it pushed me outside my comfort zones a lot! I’m very proud of it and am very excited to see what others will make with it!

After having the forethought to scout out an abandoned house for enemies, our rogue rolled a 20 for sneak. The large rats inside the house did not notice him and continued doing rat things. The rogue then reported back to the party that the rats were just hanging around. The party didn’t realize that the reason was that the rogue was practically invisible, and burst into the house. After fighting the rats this gem of a conversation happened.

Artificer - “I THOUGHT YOU SAID THEY WERE FRIENDLY?”

Rogue - “I SAID THEY WERE VIBING!”

And noe for something completely different... What is the oath of drowned? Ancients, vengeance and devotion are in the phb. But I have never heard of the drowned one. Since its #2 on your top list, I figure you might enjoy talking about it a little X3

It’s a homebrew I’ve grown fond of. Those who swear to serve the gods in exchange for mercy as they are swallowed by the ocean are resurrected, their purpose now to safeguard and protect those traveling on the water. In exchange they lose many memories and their personalities change, their old selves partially washed away as a sacrifice. It’s a baptism of the spirit that is not without pain or sacrifice.

It’s very different from a standard Oath, and I love the aesthetic and implications as the paladin wrestles with identity, mercy, servitude, all the while bound to a life as a guardian at sea.

A thought that arises from the idea of tiefling babies often ending up being abandoned: A rich tiefling adventurer retiring and starting up a tiefling orphanage that takes care of rejected tiefling babies and children.

Paladin rolled a 5. Paladin: “The body was teleported.”

Terrible Character Ideas:

A monk based on a European Christian archetype. They have sworn a sacred oath to defeat the giant snail plaguing the countryside.

A dragonborn desperately trying to convince the party that they’re really an aarakocra with a skin condition that made their feathers fall out.

Your standard horny bard, but they play a washboard. 

A sentient hat piloting a mannequin.

A dark elf who’s afraid of the dark, and terrified of spiders.

A peasant farmer who joined the adventure because they’re going through a midlife crisis and want to ~find themself.~

A druid who got involved because they’re the party’s weed dealer.

A werewolf who doesn’t believe in the moon.

one of my very favorite obscure story tropes is when there’s an episode/plotline/tabletop campaign session where the conceit is ‘each member of the gang gets trapped in a specially tailored dream/nightmare/illusory mindscape and has to break out’

Half elf sorcerer (absolute ray of sunshine who will need therapy after being in Barovia) offered Strahd handmade soap during their first meeting. Strahd got confused and wandered off.

Whenever I’m in a game of d&d and suddenly expected to know the name of a city in a world/area of my own creation that doesn’t really matter I just say the name of a pigeon breed. So many excellent location names ripe for the picking. Yes we are looking to expand trade into Voorburg. Ah this minor NPC who you have no reason to ask about is from Orloff yes of course I had that prepared.
