I saw in one of your posts you own an agile intrepid 8 strings. I'm thinking about getting this guitar or the Jackson dka8. Which guitar is better overall in your opinion since you also have the dka7? Also how heavy are they? Thank you.
I sold my agile and honestly I wasn't that impressed with it, I know they are kinda hit and miss though. Also it was the 28 inch scale which was a big jump for me at the time considering I had only ever played 25.5 inch scales. Anyway I do have a dka7 and I've been looking to get a dka8 also! My dka7 is super light! I love it! Favorite guitar by far. Also they have the 26.5 scale which is nice. Let me know how the dka8 is if you get one before me :p

Hey man came across your DKA7, amazing guitar, just got one and was wondering if you use the factory setup it came with or if you adjusted the action on it to better suit yourself. Just asking this because I got some guys to set it up for me and i'm not getting fluid playing near the frets closer to the bridge. And do you know the proper setup for the DKA7 for fluid sweeping and shredding? Thanks man
Hey thanks! Yeah I love the guitar! I used the factory setup for a while, it was pretty good! Then I took it to a shop to have it setup with low action and it plays so nice!! Definitely recxomened a setup. Also, I know these guitars had some quality control issues, mine developed a few "dead" frets. I would recxomened a fret level as well if you are having some issues. Awesome guitar though!
