Trolls/Wicked AU

I don’t know if anyone else sees the similarities I’m seeing or how there could be potential for an AU like this, but this just came to me, and I had to jot it down before it left me. I only have three characters as of now, but if anyone else has ideas, please chime in.

Branch - Elphaba 🪵🧹

Both notably different in color than others around them, which makes them outcasts.

Tend to use sarcasm as a defense mechanism to hide true feelings and emotions.

Both are very smart compared to the people around them.

Creek - Galinda 🧘‍♂️🫧

Very popular among others, and has the power of persuasion.

Initially loathes their counterpart, but later finds a friendship of sorts.

Does, at one point (spoiler alert), betray their counterpart in some way, shape, or form.

All I can say is, just imagine these two singing “What Is This Feeling!”

Poppy - Fiyero 👑🥳

Both are in positions of royalty.

Both love to make parties happen.

Has immediate connection to popular figure, but is intrigued by the outcast, and seeks out a relationship with them.

Imagine “As Long As You’re Mine” between Branch and Poppy in their voices… 😍😍😍.
