💎 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺! Encyclopedia Creature Obscura
Wondrous item, rare ___
There are fourteen unique entries in this classic, hard-to-find series of encyclopedic tomes, which were originally written by renowned hunters and archdruids. When found, roll a d20 or choose from the table below to determine which encyclopedic volume it is.
If you have at least 5 levels in the ranger class and spend 48 hours over a period of 6 days or fewer studying the book’s contents and practicing its guidelines, you gain the favored enemy and language (or similar effect) associated with your volume of the encyclopedia. If you have 5 or more levels in the druid class and spend that same time reading it, you can use an action to expend 2 uses of your Wild Shape to transform into the volume’s associated Wild Shape option or cast the listed spell. A benefit gained from the book is permanent.
 | 1 | Aberration: A Speculation on Aberrant Physiology | Aberrations; Deep Speech | Gibbering Mouther |
 | 2 | Beast: Wild Beasts and Their Domestication | Beasts; beasts can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return | Giant Scorpion |
 | 3 | Celestial: The Divinity of Celestials, a Testament | Celestials; Celestial | Pegasus |
 | 4 | Constructs: The Inner Workings of Automatons | Constructs; your choice of language | Rug of Smothering |
 | 5 | Dragon: The Draconomicon | Dragons; Draconic | Gold Dragon Wyrmling |
 | 6 | Elemental: Fire and Water, a Primordial Project | Elementals; Primordial | Gargoyle |
 | 7 | Fey: An Interpretation of Fey Minds | Fey; Sylvan | Dryad |
 | 8 | Fiend: A Transcript of Fiendish Habits | Fiends; Abyssal or Infernal | Hell Hound |
 | 9 | Giant: A Documentation of Giant Culture | Giants; Giant | Ogre |
 | 10 | Humanoid: A Study of Humanoid Behavior | Humanoids (any two races); your choice of language | You cast the “alter self” spell (no concentration required) |

💎 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺! Spell Bolt Wraps
Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement by a monk) ___
These armwraps are made from cut up strips of spell scrolls. The spell on the scroll is either “chill touch” (25%), “fire bolt” (25%), “ray of frost” (25%), or “shocking grasp” (25%).
While wearing the wraps, you can cast the spell on the scroll in place of one of the unarmed strikes from your Flurry of Blows feature. When you do, Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for the spell, and you are proficient with the attack; the spell is cast at your character’s level. You can use this property of the wraps once on each of your turns. ___

Last of the class cheat sheets! For the Sorcerer and Warlock classes, I just included a list of all the official subclasses available and the books you can find them in, mostly because it was a choice between that, leaving the second part blank, or doing one for each subclass...
Other class cheat sheet as well as a super condensed rundown of basic rules are available on my blog (see pinned post) as well as links to get the files in PDF format. Everything is optimised for A5 paper.

Following my basic rules cheat sheet (also tagged 'For DND newbies'), here are the Artificer, Barbarian, Bard and Blood Hunter cheat sheet. These are super basic things meant to be printed in A5. PDF version can be made available on demand. Still no ID because I have no idea how the fuck to describe this more than I just did.
Please reblog if you find this useful :)

*Updated* In case you need a cheat sheet for monster making
Tumblr media
This is the order things go in. Not every monster will have everything, but if they have something it goes in this order. If they don’t have something, delete it I’m making a full video on my monster creation process, and realized my little example cheat sheet is probably useful to others. Have fun creating!

(Art by S. Kamanaka) There's a survey on feats from the player's handbook, and that's got me thinking about Skulker - a feat that basically lets you circumvent three rules that commonly get forgotten anyway. Unless your DM is particularly precise about hiding, it doesn't offer a whole lot. I wanted to take that concept (feat for doing sneaky moves) and make its benefits more concrete - because the concept is fab! Especially for that new blindfighting style. So, here's the result - an arsenal of smoke grenades for distracting and disengaging, and some extra benefits against foes that would otherwise spot you. Feats are fun, so if you guys have any feedback, or any suggestions for feats you want to see reworked, let me know. Have a great day ;)

Some random 5e homebrew magic items. This list mostly consists of one (1) semi-serious item:
PELICAN AMULET
Wonderous Item, Rare (requires attunement)
This amulet is a small disk of ivory carved with the image of a pelican pressing its bill to its chest. While you are attuned to amulet, if a creature you can see within 60ft of you is about to take damage, you can choose to use your reaction to take the damage yourself instead.
(Inspired by medieval Christian myths about pelicans)
… and then some strange things you’d probably find by rummaging around the storage bins of magical junk shops:
FARAWAY PHIAL
Wonderous Item, Common
This item is a tiny brown glass phial with a glass stopper that contains all the scents of home. Any creature who removes the stopper and sniffs the phial will be momentarily overcome by a sense of peace and the smells of somewhere safe and inviting.
SAINT’S GUISE
Wonderous Item, Uncommon
While wearing this cloak, anyone who sees you in their peripheral vision will see you limned in gentle light with a star of white light upon your brow. The effect vanishes if they look at you directly.
DOLOROUS VEIL
Wonderous Item, Common
This black lace veil creates a constant quiet sound of weeping around you whenever it is worn. The weeping is only silenced when the veil is removed.
THE EVER-FORGOTTEN PEN
Wonderous Item, Common
For those errant scribes who are always forgetting where they left their pen. Tap thrice on the nib of this ink pen to bind it to you. Afterwards, whenever you move more than 50ft from the pen, it disappears from its location and reappears tucked behind your ear, where it remains until you remove it. Ink does not vanish from the pen while it does this, and the manufacturer claims no responsibility for ink drips to hair, face, beard or clothes as a result. Tap thrice on the nib again to unbind the pen, and try not to forget that you’ve done so.
WINKING BROOCH
Wonderous Item, Common
This tiny jewelled brooch takes the shape of an eye. Whenever the brooch senses eyes on you for more than 15 seconds, it winks at your admirer.
THE EXCESSIVE THIMBLE
Wonderous Item, Legendary (requires attunement)
While wearing this worn brass thimble on your finger, you are immune to piercing damage.

Well I watched the new Venom movie, it was really good! Absolutely loved the relationship between Eddie and Venom!
And just like after watching the first movie I got inspired to make a dnd thing for it! This time I updated the old symbiote subclass I made last time. The features are updated, some were completely changed! It’s got a fresh coat of paint and more flavor to it! Hope you enjoy!
Edit: I made some changes! Revised some of the base subclass features based on feedback I received, added eldritch invocations, and added a whole section for expanding upon your relationship with your patron!
