As always, disabled people bear the brunt of the injustice during crises.
This is why I'm begging you to spare anything you can for @noor-yashour who is fundraising for her disabled son, Muhammad, 4 years of age. He was receiving physical therapy in order to be able to walk but with his treatment on hold during the genocide, his condition is rapidly deteriorating.
LOW ON FUNDS.

people's acceptance of depicitions of violence that are beyond any definition of ethical in works of art they consume and their corresponding disdain for depictions of sexual acts that are completely unethical seems to have a very ready-made explanation in the way in which violence can often be given an instrumental justification above and beyond the experience of the person doing it. violence can always be justified as "oh im not in this for the (causing of) pain, the harm, the transformation of bodys im just doing this so as to achieve a practical aim that requires me to injure another party". Obviously this is absurd, people have sex for all manner of different reasons and it is just a lot of fun to kick someone in the stomach. The question would be resolved very quickly and not occupy so much space in my brain if i didnt have absolutely no idea what people who advocate for the position said in its defence because they often have to furnish so little in the way of argumentation given their position is essentially one of the superiority of disgust. Like Is there an alternative defence going around we just don't hear?

ngl, starting to get annoyed with this trend of people saying like "this art is like a <different medium of art> to me" , like can you just say you enjoyed something without trying to classify its context, what does that even mean?? my drawings "are like poetry to you" shut up lol!!

my birthday gift this weekend was that I took my pet to a cute hotel downtown, and got it drunk and high downstairs in the lobby bar while I watched. She got giggly and asked if I was gonna rape her. Sweet dog. I took it upstairs to our room, let it take off my shoes, got it wrapped up in its puppy gear (paws, bone gag). Did body writing on it for the first time. Tore it up with my claws and teeth. Took pics for blackmail. Paddled her until she was making those cute crying noises she makes. She got to hump my leg and huff my pits while I watched a movie! A treat for her, too!
Then I cleaned her up and we took a nice lil shower together. Just wonderful. I went back to her place today and traced over her bodywriting in sharpie so she could have it all week. Left my socks with her to remember me by until we're together again. Just a perfect weekend. <3

talking about feelings in relation to a piece of art seems to be the ideal way of talking abt art and i get how comparisons & shallow comments can become tiresome but liek...what abt when the comparison comes with contextualization and isnt a shallow comment?

🌟 A Journey of Hope: An Update from Mosab 🌟
Hello dear friends,
I am writing to you with a heart full of gratitude and hope. Over the past few weeks, your support has been overwhelming. Together, we’ve raised an incredible €3031 towards our goal of €20,000, and I cannot express how much this means to my family and me. ❤️🌍
Life here in Gaza has always been filled with challenges, but the current circumstances have made it unimaginably difficult. As some of you know, my family has endured unimaginable losses – 25 of my loved ones were taken by the violence. 💔 Their memory is my driving force to keep moving forward, to survive, and to share our story with the world.
Your generosity – through donations, reblogs, and kind words – has shown me that even in the darkest times, there is light. ✨ Every euro donated, every reblog shared, every message of encouragement has made an impact. You’ve helped us cover basic necessities, keep our spirits alive, and dream of a safer future.
🛠️ How You Can Help:
💶 Donate – No matter how small, every euro helps. 👉 https://gofund.me/5ac9124f
🔄 Reblog – Share this post with your followers. Every reblog increases the chance of reaching someone who can help.
📢 Spread the Word – Talk about our story with your friends and family. Awareness is a powerful tool.
To everyone who has already supported us: Thank you from the depths of my heart. ❤️ Your kindness gives me hope and strength to face each day. You are not just helping my family survive; you are reminding us that we are not alone in this fight.
Together, we can reach the goal of €20,000, and with your help, we will. Please keep sharing, keep donating, and keep believing in the power of compassion. 🌈💖
Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
With love and gratitude, Mosab 🕊️
