What's the deal with Malala?
Here’s the deal with Malala, I’ve realised that a lot of people are quite ignorant towards what she actually intends to do. That is to be a Women’s right activist. Not just restricted to Pakistan. Now don’t deny that Pakistan doesn’t need it because a lot of the rural cities where women are not educated do need it.
The reason she was given more attention than her two other friends is unfair, but it also comes down to whether or not the parents wanted their kids in the limelight. She was working with the BBC as a blogger about her life in a Taliban controlled city where due to religious extremists she was deprived of an education.
She continued to fight to the right to an education which who in their right mind wouldn’t? She got shot. Now how she recovered from the shot even that I am amazed by but we have no solid evidence as to it being a hoax so calm down ya conspiracy theorists.
Since she was working with the BBC (based in England) they felt it was partially their fault that she was attacked AND THATS WHY she got flown to Birmingham for her treatment. The UN then approached her to make a petition for education rights, the petition consists of
"We call on Pakistan to agree to a plan to deliver education for every child. We call on all countries to outlaw discrimination against girls. We call on international organizations to ensure the world’s 61 million out-of-school children are in education by the end of 2015”
Malala did not promise peace to Pakistan, she promised equal rights. If you’re that afraid of women having an equal education opportunity then you’re disagreeing with the Quran itself.
Yes the repercussions have been bad on Pakistan regarding the drone strikes but lets be honest. America would have found any other way to do it, regarding her being a “CIA” agent. No, those conspiracies stem from the threat that women may also be in charge. They will also start to fight for their own rights.
Just stop and take in for a moment what she’s advocating for. Done? Education is important. She is just fighting for education. She didn’t promise miraculous worldpeace, she simply wants underprivileged women to have an education. Now why the Pakistani society hates it so much? I really don’t understand. This is my view, I really am curious to know what it is that makes Pakistani’s hate Malala so much when all she is doing is wanting education?
this is one view that I read: http://www.exmuslimblogs.com/murtadjournals/blog/2013/11/21/why-i-hate-malala-yousafzai-a-guest-post-by-kunwar-khuldune-shahid/

make me choose: sidharth with parineeti, alia or shraddha
"It’s like what they say, opposites attract. We’re quite different. I’m quite reserved whereas she’s always bubbly, lively and chirpy and never in a bad mood, but also we had a lot in common because we are both Punjabis and because we have a similar upbringing, similar culture we get along and share a sense of humour." - Sidharth on Parineeti
