The small pile of clothes in the corner of the room. The place wasn’t dirty, more disorganized. But what could be expected? Peridot thought everything was disorganized, no matter how clean it appeared.

“I’m sure you’d bite in the right context.” Replied the blonde, taking a seat across from em. She had been watching em intently, her emerald eyes taking in eir every feature. Eir skin, hair, teeth and eyes, all taken note of. Not one thing would be forgotten. Slung across her shoulder was a backpack, which she set down next to her feet, leaning against the leg of the chair. Objective: Observe em, and if the situation allowed, recruit em. “My name is Peridot. You know, like the stone?”

Ceno decided to take a trip to the human world, after all it had been quite a while since ey had walked amongst the land of the markiplites.  Ey missed them all dearly, having been away for so long.  Ey found a local cafe and wandered in, ordered a chai and sat outside to people watch and have a smoke, taking out a pad of paper and a pencil to doodle as ey did so.  Ey weren’t expecting anyone to take note of em, but after a while did notice someone was watching em.  Looking up ey waved at them, “You can come over, it’s fine.  I won’t bite!”  Luckily ey had put on the voice modulating device before ey had left the Darkiplite Citadel, so eir voice wouldn’t sound any different than any regular human’s.
