Crystal Peridot Circle Lens Review (Blue)
Hi everyone! I’m doing another circle lens review. This time, it’s from Crystal Lenses. I bought my pair from www.gwyshop.com . I got mine for a cheaper price since they give discounts to those who purchase two or more pairs.
Info:
Diameter: 15mm
Expiration: 1 year after opening the vial.
B.C. 8.70mm
My eyes are perfectly fine. No need for grades. :)
The pair in its new home. :D
No lenses on
With lenses.
With full makeup on.
~
My verdict:
Comfort: 4/5
They were pretty comfortable. It didn’t irritate my eyes.
Enlargement: 3.8/5
These are not the most enlarging lenses I’ve tried. If you’re looking for more enlarging ones, opt for styles with thicker limbal rings.
Color: 4.3/5
The Peridot Series are pretty impressive when it comes to color. I had a pair in green before, and it was pigmented as well. I could compare it to EOS.
If you want super duper pigmented ones, go for EOS Twilight series or Crystal Animation lenses.
OVERALL: 4/5
These has become one of my fave lens styles together with the Morganite Series under the Crystal Brand.

Vogue Royal Cosplay Wig Review (Anna from Frozen)
Disclaimer: I am not sponsored in any way by Vogue Royal in doing this review.
Hi everyone!
I’m doing a review on a wig. This time, it’s from VRC brand (https://www.facebook.com/VogueRoyalLeCroix). I own several wigs from them and I’ve been contented with my purchases so far. My Misa Amane, Mikasa Ackerman, Ulzzang, and Naruto wigs are all from them.
I’ve done a VRC wig review in my old blog @ http://ribbonsaround.blogspot.com/2013/04/vogue-royal-cosplay-wig-review.html . I might transfer it here soon though.
I already own an Anna wig which is from the brand FMLCos (pictured below). I believe that it’s much color accurate, but it doesn’t fit my skintone or face for some reason (or is it just me?)
I looked for a more brownish-reddish shade and bought the one I saw in Vogue Royal Facebook page.
The wig arrived after 1 day. The transaction I had w/ VRC is fast and smooth.
This shade is better? no?
Closeup photo of the fibers. I expected the wig to be more warm-toned though.
The wig worn right out from the bag. Do you think it has a better shade than the old one?
Do you wanna build a snowman?
My verdict~
PROS:
1. Easy to manage
2. Easy to untangle
3. Affordable
4. Most of the stocks are on-hand
CONS:
1. The wig is thin
2. It is difficult to make the white streak visible (so as my old wig). >_<
Will I repurchase?
Yes! I’ve been buying wigs from them since 2013. :)

NYX Wonder Pencil in Medium Review
Hi everyone! I’m doing a review on a NYX product. This time, it’s a pencil. I bought this along with my Coastal Scents concealer palette from www.theprimppad.com/
Disclaimer: I am not paid/sponsored in any way to do this review.
Let’s begin!
~
I’ve been searching for the perfect pencil eyeliner for my waterline. I’ve tried the white ones, but then I find it too harsh for me. I figured out that a nude-colored liner might be better.
I’ve tried lots of local brands before, but they just don’t work. They’re either too hard, too smooth, and doesn’t have staying power. I figured out that NYX might be a good brand for pencil liners since I already have their jumbo eye pencil and I love it so much. I also use NYX eyebrow powder and face primer, and I am loving their products so far. I went with the medium since I’m not really sure which shade to get.
Here are the pictures of the pencil~
This wonder pencil claims to be a concealer, eye brightener, and reverse lip liner in one. How cool is that?
As you can see in the swatch, it’s lighter than my skin tone.
I only intend to use it as an eye brightener though. I also use it to clean up my strokes after applying my eyebrow makeup. It works like a charm.
Here are pictures when worn~
My verdict~
PROS:
1. Good pigmentation! NYX does not disappoint me in this aspect.
2. Can easily be sharpened.
3. Consistency is not that hard nor creamy. It’s just the right one.
4. It brightens your eyes.
5. Multipurpose
CONS
1. You may need to reapply after a few hours.
2. It’s better if it’s retractable. >_<
RATING:
4.5/5
Would I repurchase?
YES! It’s affordable and has good quality. NYX is definitely one of my favorite makeup brand.

Coastal Scents Eclipse Palette Review+ Highlight and Contour Tutorial
Hi there! This is my first makeup review ever, so please go easy on me. >_<
Disclaimer: This is not a paid review. I bought this product with my own money.
Oookay~ so let’s begin!
I was searching for concealers over the Internet because the local brands I’ve tried is no good for me. I always swear to the Naturactor Cover Face Foundation/Concealer because it does the job and lasts for a long time. I needed the green one because I have lots of redness/acne scars going on my face. As a stressed college student, it’s unavoidable.
The green Naturactor was out of stock everywhere, so I opted to look for another one since I cannot wait for restocks any longer. I came across a local online makeup store [ http://www.theprimppad.com/ ]. I browsed their shop and products were fairly priced, so I decided to give it a try.
I browsed in their concealers section and found a priced at 698 pesos. I googled about the Coastal Scents brand and it seemed like a reliable brand.
I paid through bank deposit. My orders arrived 2 days after. It was a smooth transaction. Thanks, Primp Pad :)
On to the pictures~
I also bought NYX wonder pencil which I am gonna do a review on soon.
It has 15 shades which is good for highlight, contouring, and color correcting. Not bad for a 698 peso palette. Ta dah~no mirror.
Now, let’s see it’s performance.
(P.S. This also serves as a contour and highlight tutorial.)
This is my bare face. Yikes. hahaha deal with it. I have lots or redness, acne scars, and dark circles. :))
with BB cream and circle lens. Ta dah~ I’ve transformed! (ughhhh, maybe just a bit). I still have redness and dark circles. It needs to be covered.
Green to neutralize red. :)
Orange for yeer dark circles. hahahaha!
Using the darkest shade, I contoured my face ala Kim Kardashian (Well, not quite) :))
Highlighting~ :3
Yo woman, you need to blend all dat sht out.
And yeaaay! I’m done! I also did my eye makeup and eyebrows.
This look is actually a trial for Princess Anna (Frozen) hence the braided wig on the background and the freckles on my face.
THE AFTERMATH. :))
My Verdict~
PROS:
- It really conceals your imperfections.
- Wide range of colors to suit your needs.
- Blendable
- You only need a small amount to get the job done.
- No funny smell
CONS:
- You can only get them online in the Philippines.
- The pans are quite small and has small quantity.
- Tends to get oily after hours of wear.
- It can get really messy. You should use a mixing plate and spatula when using this product.
- The shades are actually lighter than how it looks in the pan.
Rating:
4/5
Other Comments:
I still like my Naturactor Cover Face better, but this is also good. You may need to blot or powder your face after a few hours if you have oily skin (like me).
Would I repurchase?
Probably.

Geo Mimi Cafe in Waffle Gray Review
Yo~ Today I'll be doing a review for a contact lens. It's GEO Mimi Cafe in Waffle Gray. I was supposed to get the Princess Mimi in Bambi Gray but it was out of stock. T_T I got this one instead. I bought these lenses from Rainbow Project or GEO Contact Lenses (Official Distributor in Philippines) [HOK] (Facebook Shop) Here are the pictures~
This is the photo of the vials. It’s 15mm in diameter.
Lens in the case (w/o flash)
Lens in the case (w/ flash)
Photo when worn (in studio lighting).
Photo when worn in room lighting.
VERDICT:
The Positives:
Eye enlarging
Nice design (3-toned)
Comfortable to wear
The Negatives:
Color is not that vivid (especially in dark eyes)
May get uncomfortable with longer hours of wear
Other Comments:
I made this review back in 2013. I think that this design from GEO has been discontinued. GEO is now GEOLICA, and the store where I bought this from now caters Crystal lens. This is true in the Philippines only, and I’m not really sure in other countries.
