Impressions from Museum visit in August 2017.
Impressions are grouped into 2 themes:
The Marine Archaeological Artifacts from the Museum Hall. Left side.
The Harbor Area with the Workshops and Activities.Right side.
Overall theme is water.
In the middle a Social Media savvy tourist family. Adults and Children visiting.
Reflection: These impressions is shaping the direction I want to take for the solution of a new visual identity for the museum web page.

Challenge: Creating modern digital experience on the web and in Museum.
Vision: Vikingeskibsmuseet mission, vision and values: Visible cultural institution within Marine archaeology.
Design Problem: Website is confusing. Visual identity is missing

24th of August field trip to the Vikingeskibsmuseum.
Impression: Interesting museum. The museum is spread over large area at the coast. close to downtown Roskilde.
The museum contains:
-Architectural building with the viking ship wrecks and shop.
-Harbor Island with reconstructed viking ships and several workshops with Viking themes.
-Restaurant.
-Sailing trips
Impression of the digital experience in the museum was that there is room for improvement.
