Epxloring every possible codec of AVI format and it's artifacts. Picture 1 and 2 is M-JPEG codec. Picture 3 and 4 are MPEG-4. Picture 5 and 6 are DIVX3. Picture 7 and 8 are V8. Pictures 9 and 10 are WMV2. Picture 11 and 12 are Theora. 13 and 14 are H264. 15 and 16 are DIVX2. All glitches made with changing and overwriting bytes in HexFiend

I was hexploding .pdf files to see what can happen. The results show that the process of glitching depends on where your file was imported from and what it consists of. Geometrical shapes can result in very nice and interesting glitches

I was editing the HEX code of an image of my eye to get some cool-looking glitches, using Hex Fiend!
The first 7 pictures play with the bytes after two of FF DB, allowing me to edit quantization and colour.
The 8 one is a result of editing bytes after FF C0, allowing you to resize it.
The last ones are a result of editing bytes after FF C4, which can lead you to unexpectable graphics
