Sex is important to Clarence, very much so, both as an act that brings himself and his lover pleasure, but also as an affirmation that he is still human and alive despite the current state of his body! Eating, drinking, love and sex, these are all things that help him feel akin to the same man he was previous to being a doll; and he is still the same man! He's not defined by his body, Clarence is Clarence, he exists in the mind and in all the things he does; wether or not he's flesh and blood or yarn and ceramic does not matter. Clarence can often feel wrong in his body, disconnected or out of place, and that quite often leads to very self-hating thoughts. But. He is loved, and he is still Clarence, and he has so many things in his life to affirm that- he is very fortunate to have the people around him that he does, who listen to his needs and pay attention to how to best help him feel like himself.

The first few times Clarence tries to do anything in the bedroom he can't go through with it, and has to explain to Elias that it's not because he's a man and Clarence has not been with a man before, and it's not that he's trans either, good heavens no- Clarence loves him as who he is, and for who he is. He adores Elias whole heartedly and thinks he is the most handsome, wonderful man alive. He's just terrified he's going to feel like a toy or object in the bedroom, rather than a sexual partner. So Elias and he talk through it, and they figure out what feels good both physically and mentally for both of them. And then they have sex. And. It is good. It is in fact very good, Clarence is, much to his own surprise, pretty darn good at it! And he feels so very loved and appreciated, and never once disregarded or forgotten about during; he feels important, he feels connected to his lover, and he feels. Human.

They do joke and laugh in the bedroom, of course they do, laughter and fun is an important aspect of that to them; but they also do fuck, and it's not a joke that they do, they both have desires, they both fulfil those desires.
